不欲順從、不追念主為其所行之奇事、強項背逆、自立一長、欲返為奴之地、惟主為天主赦宥、仁慈、矜憐、容忍、大施恩惠、仍不棄之、

They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them,

They refused to listen to you. They forgot the miracles you had done among them. So they became stubborn. When they refused to obey you, they appointed a leader for themselves. They wanted to go back to being slaves in Egypt. But you are a God who forgives. You are gracious. You are tender and kind. You are slow to get angry. You are full of love. So you didn’t desert them.

They refused to obey and were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.

主啊，你是美善的，赦免人的；对所有呼求你的人，你有丰盛的慈爱！

但主啊，你是有怜悯、有恩惠的神！你不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和信实。

他们不记念他手的能力，不记念他救赎他们脱离敌人的日子。那时他在埃及显出他的神迹，在琐安的田野显出他的奇事。

邪恶的人要离弃自己的道路，作恶的人要撇弃自己的意念；他们当回转归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜悯他们；当回转归向我们的神，因为神必广施赦免。耶和华宣告：“我的意念非同你们的意念，你们的道路非同我的道路；天怎样高过地，照样，我的道路高过你们的道路，我的意念高过你们的意念。

但他们很快就忘记了他的作为，也没有等候他的带领。

他多次解救他们，他们却图谋悖逆，在自己的罪孽中堕落。然而，当他听到他们呼声的时候，就垂顾他们的危难，为他们的缘故，记念自己的约，照着他丰盛的慈爱回心转意；又使他们在所有掳走他们的人面前得怜悯。

然而神有怜悯，赎清了他们的罪孽，没有施行毁灭；他多次使他的怒气转消，没有发尽他的怒火。

他们厌弃那宝贵的土地，不相信他的话语；他们在自己的帐篷中发怨言，不听耶和华的声音；

我们的祖先在埃及时，不明白你的奇妙作为，不记念你丰盛的慈爱，反倒在红海边悖逆。

耶和华有怜悯、有恩惠，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱。他不长久责备，也不永远怀怒。他没有照着我们的罪过对待我们，也没有照着我们的罪孽报应我们。因为天离地有多么高，他的慈爱向敬畏他的人也多么大；东离西有多么远，他使我们的过犯离我们也多么远；父亲怎样怜悯自己的儿女，耶和华也怎样怜悯敬畏他的人；因为他知道我们的本体，记念我们不过是尘土。至于世人，他的年日如草一样，他兴旺如野地的花，经风一吹，就不复存在，连自己的地方也不再认识它。但是耶和华的慈爱临到敬畏他的人，从永远到永远；他的公义归于他们的子子孙孙，就是那些遵守他的约，并记住他的训诫去遵行的人。

然而赦免在于你，好使人敬畏你。

所以，虽然你们已经知道这些事，又在你们已有的真理上得了坚固，我还是要不断地提醒你们。我认为，只要我还在这帐篷里，就理当用提醒的话来激发你们，因为我知道我脱离这帐篷的时候快到了，就像我们的主耶稣基督也曾向我指明的。我也要努力，使你们在我离世以后，时常想起这些事。

耶和华有恩惠、有怜悯，不轻易发怒，并大有慈爱。耶和华善待万有，他的怜悯临到他所造的一切。

我们的祖先不肯顺从，反而弃绝了他，甚至在心里转回埃及去，

你们还不明白吗？难道不记得那五个饼给五千人，你们收拾了几个篮子的碎块吗？也不记得那七个饼给四千人，你们收拾了几个筐子的碎块吗？你们怎么不明白，我对你们说的不是饼的事，而是要你们提防法利赛人和撒都该人的酵母呢？”

归于他恩典荣耀的称赞，这恩典是他在爱子里特别赐给我们的。在他里面，我们藉着他的血，得蒙救赎、过犯得到赦免，都是出于神恩典的丰盛。

因为神对摩西说：“我要怜悯谁，就怜悯谁；我要同情谁，就同情谁。”

你们要当心，不要拒绝向你们说话的那一位。要知道，那些拒绝了在地上警告他们的，尚且无法逃脱惩罚，更何况我们背弃从天上警告我们的那一位呢！

既然我呼唤了，你们拒绝，我伸出了手，没有人留心，
