You divided the sea before them, so that they passed through it on dry ground, but you hurled their pursuers into the depths, like a stone into mighty waters.

You parted the waters of the Red Sea for the Israelites. They passed through it on dry ground. But you threw into the sea those who chased them. They sank down like a stone into the mighty waters.

他把海分开，领他们走过去，又使海水直立像一道堤坝。

摩西就向海伸手，到了天亮的时候，海水流回原处；埃及人逆流逃跑的时候，耶和华就把他们投在海中。海水一回流，就淹没了马车、马兵和那些跟着以色列人下海去的法老的全军，连一个也没有余下。

摩西向海伸手，耶和华就用极强的东风，一夜之间使海水退去；他使海变成干地，海水也分开了。以色列人下到海中走干地，水在他们的左右作了墙垣。

要称谢那分开红海的，因为他的慈爱永远长存。他领以色列人从海中经过，因为他的慈爱永远长存。他把法老和他的军兵都抖落在红海里，因为他的慈爱永远长存。

那时，他们想起古时的日子，就是摩西和他的人民的日子，说：那把人民和他羊群的牧者从海里领上来的，在哪里呢？那把自己的圣灵降在他们中间的，在哪里呢？那使自己荣耀的膀臂在摩西的右边行走，那在他们面前把水分开，为要建立永远的名的，他在哪里呢？那带领他们走过深海，像马走过旷野一样，使他们不致跌倒的，在哪里呢？

大海看见就奔逃，约旦河也倒流。大山跳跃像公羊，小山蹦跳像小羊。大海啊！你为什么奔逃？约旦河啊！你为什么倒流？

他斥责红海，海就干了；他领他们走过海底，像经过旷野一样。他拯救他们脱离憎恨他们的人的手，从仇敌的手中救赎了他们。海水淹没了他们的敌人，连一个也没有留下。

因着信，他们走过了红海，好像走过旱地一样；埃及人也试着要过去，就被淹没了。

他把海变为干地，众人就步行过河，我们要在那里因他欢喜。

那时，摩西和以色列人向耶和华唱了以下这首歌，说：“我要向耶和华歌唱，因为他高高地被高举起来；他把马匹和骑马的投在海中。耶和华是我的力量，我的诗歌，也成了我的拯救；这是我的神，我要赞美他；他是我父的神，我要尊崇他。耶和华是战士，他的名是耶和华。他把法老的马车和军兵都投在海里，法老特选的官长都沉在红海中。波涛淹没了他们，他们好像石头坠到深海。耶和华啊，你的右手满有荣耀和能力；耶和华啊，你的右手击碎了仇敌。你以莫大的威荣，毁灭了那些起来攻击你的人；你发出烈怒，把他们烧灭像烧禾秸一样。你鼻孔中的气一发，海水就堆聚起来；水流直立像堤坝，深渊凝结于海心。仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要均分掳物；我要在他们身上得到满足；我要拔出刀来，亲手赶绝他们。’你用风一吹，海就把他们淹没，他们就像铅一样沉在大水之中。耶和华啊，万神之中有谁像你呢？有谁像你荣耀圣洁，可颂可畏，施行奇事呢？你伸出右手，地就吞没他们。你凭着慈爱，带领了你买赎的人民；你凭着能力，引导了他们到你的圣所。万民听见，就必战抖；疼痛恐惧抓住了非利士的居民。那时，以东的族长惊惶，摩押的英雄被战兢抓住，所有迦南的居民都胆战心寒。恐惧战兢临到他们身上；因着你大能的手臂，他们像石头一样寂然不动；直到你的人民过去，耶和华啊，直到你买赎的人民过去。你要把他们领进去，栽种在你产业的山上，耶和华啊，就是在你为自己预备的住处；主啊，就是在你手建立的圣所上。耶和华必作王，直到永永远远。”因为法老的马匹、战车和马兵进到海中去的时候，耶和华使海水回流到他们身上；以色列人却在海中走干地。亚伦的姊姊女先知米利暗，手里拿着鼓；所有的妇女都跟着她出来，击鼓跳舞。米利暗应和着她们说：“你们要向耶和华歌唱，因为他高高地被高举起来，他把马匹和骑马的投在海中。”

有一位大力的天使，把一块好像大磨石一样的石头，举起来抛在海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样被猛力地抛下去，决不能再找到了！
