But many people recognized them and saw them leaving, and people from many towns ran ahead along the shore and got there ahead of them.Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.

A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.

To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction.

After that, he taught daily in the Temple, but the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the other leaders of the people began planning how to kill him.But they could think of nothing, because all the people hung on every word he said.
