弟子啊，你要喫蜜，因為這是好的；喫蜂房滴下來的蜜，你便覺得甜。要知道智慧對你的心也是這樣：你若找着，必有好結局；你的希望必不至於斷絕。

永恆主的訓令正直，能使人的心歡喜；永恆主的誡命清潔，能使人眼目明亮。敬畏永恆主的道理是潔淨的，它立定到永遠；永恆主的典章真實，一概公義。比金子可羨慕，比許多鍊淨的金子還可愛；比蜜甘甜，比蜂房滴下的還甜。並且你僕人還能由於這些而受警戒；守着這些便有大賞報。

他嘴脣的命令我未曾離棄；我口中說的話我珍藏於胸懷裏。

他們就彼此說：『當他在路上和我們說話，給我們開講經典的時候，我們心裏豈不是熱烘烘燃燒着麼？』

當永恆主恢復錫安的故業時，我們好像在作夢的。那時我們滿口喜笑，滿舌歡呼；那時列國中就有人說：『永恆主為他們行了大事了。』啊，永恆主真地為我們行了大事了：我們很歡喜。

因為智慧必入你心；知識必成為你所喜悅的；謀略必護衛你；明哲必守護着你；

藐視你話之人的羞辱呀。消滅他們吧，使你的話成了我的喜樂，我心中所歡喜的哦；因為永恆主萬軍之上帝啊，我是稱為你名下的人呀。
