又賜詔書，通知管理王園林的亞薩，使他給我木料，做屬殿營樓之門的橫樑和城牆，與我自己房屋使用的。」王就允准我，因我神施恩的手幫助我。

又赐诏书，给看守王的园林的亚萨，吩咐他给我木材，建造圣殿的营楼大门的横梁，以及建造城墙和我要入住的房屋。”因为我的神施恩的手帮助我，王就赐给我这一切。

賜詔書通知看守王園林的亞薩，叫他給我木料、作附屬於殿的營樓之門的橫梁、作城牆、和我自己要進住的房屋的用處。』王就賜給我所求的，因為我的上帝至善的手幫助了我。

並請降詔於虞人亞薩、賜我材木、以建附殿之樓門及城垣、與我所居之室、蒙我上帝之佑、王允所祈、

亦請王降詔於虞人亞薩、使彼賜我材木、可建城門、築垣墉、與我所居之室、蒙上帝祐、王允所祈。

亦求降詔於司王山林之臣亞薩、命之賜我材木、用以作圍殿城之門之柝梁、建城垣、與我所欲居之室、我蒙我天主之祐、王允我所求、

And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the royal park, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.

May I also have a letter to Asaph? He takes care of the royal park. I want him to give me some logs so I can make beams out of them. I want to use them for the gates of the fort that is by the temple. Some of the logs will also be used in the city wall. And I’ll need some for the house I’m going to live in.” God was kind to me and helped me. So the king gave me what I asked for.

and a letter to Asaph, the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the fortress of the temple, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall occupy.” And the king granted me what I asked, for the good hand of my God was upon me.

And please give me a letter addressed to Asaph, the manager of the king’s forest, instructing him to give me timber. I will need it to make beams for the gates of the Temple fortress, for the city walls, and for a house for myself.” And the king granted these requests, because the gracious hand of God was on me.

And let me have a letter written to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, so that he will give me timber to rebuild the gates of the temple’s fortress, the city wall, and the home where I will live.” The king granted my requests, for the gracious hand of my God was on me.

And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which[ appertained] to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

and a letter for Asaph the keeper of the king’s nature preserve, so that he will give me timber for beams for the gates of the fortress adjacent to the temple and for the city wall and for the house to which I go.” So the king granted me these requests, for the good hand of my God was on me.

這以斯拉從巴比倫上來，他是敏捷的文士，通達耶和華－以色列神所賜摩西的律法書。王允准他一切所求的，是因耶和華－他神的手幫助他。

我就派我的弟兄哈拿尼和營樓的宰官哈拿尼雅管理耶路撒冷；因為哈拿尼雅是忠信的，又敬畏神過於眾人。

你們看見，就心中快樂；你們的骨頭必得滋潤像嫩草一樣；而且耶和華的手向他僕人所行的必被人知道；他也要向仇敵發惱恨。

神的眼目看顧猶大的長老，以致總督等沒有叫他們停工，直到這事奏告大流士，得着他的回諭。

神使但以理在太監長眼前蒙恩惠，受憐憫。

多謝神，感動提多的心，叫他待你們殷勤，像我一樣。

然而我蒙神的幫助，直到今日還站得住，對着尊貴、卑賤、老幼作見證；所講的並不外乎眾先知和摩西所說將來必成的事，

那人說：「你的名不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列；因為你與神與人較力，都得了勝。」

王的心在耶和華手中，好像隴溝的水隨意流轉。

救他脫離一切苦難，又使他在埃及王法老面前得恩典，有智慧。法老就派他作埃及國的宰相兼管全家。

正月初一日，他從巴比倫起程；因他神施恩的手幫助他，五月初一日就到了耶路撒冷。

那時，大祭司以利亞實和他的弟兄眾祭司起來建立羊門，分別為聖，安立門扇，又築城牆到哈米亞樓，直到哈楠業樓，分別為聖。其次是耶利哥人建造。其次是音利的兒子撒刻建造。哈西拿的子孫建立魚門，架橫樑、安門扇，和閂鎖。其次是哈哥斯的孫子、烏利亞的兒子米利末修造。其次是米示薩別的孫子、比利迦的兒子米書蘭修造。其次是巴拿的兒子撒督修造。其次是提哥亞人修造；但是他們的貴冑不用肩擔他們主的工作。巴西亞的兒子耶何耶大與比所玳的兒子米書蘭修造古門，架橫樑，安門扇和閂鎖。其次是基遍人米拉提，米倫人雅頓與基遍人，並屬河西總督所管的米斯巴人修造。其次是銀匠哈海雅的兒子烏薛修造。其次是做香的哈拿尼雅修造。這些人修堅耶路撒冷，直到寬牆。其次是管理耶路撒冷一半、戶珥的兒子利法雅修造。其次是哈路抹的兒子耶大雅對着自己的房屋修造。其次是哈沙尼的兒子哈突修造。哈琳的兒子瑪基雅和巴哈‧摩押的兒子哈述修造一段，並修造爐樓。其次是管理耶路撒冷那一半、哈羅黑的兒子沙龍和他的女兒們修造。哈嫩和撒挪亞的居民修造谷門，立門，安門扇和閂鎖，又建築城牆一千肘，直到糞廠門。管理伯‧哈基琳、利甲的兒子瑪基雅修造糞廠門，立門，安門扇和閂鎖。管理米斯巴、各荷西的兒子沙崙修造泉門，立門，蓋門頂，安門扇和閂鎖，又修造靠近王園西羅亞池的牆垣，直到那從大衛城下來的臺階。其次是管理伯‧夙一半、押卜的兒子尼希米修造，直到大衛墳地的對面，又到挖成的池子，並勇士的房屋。其次是利未人巴尼的兒子利宏修造。其次是管理基伊拉一半、哈沙比雅為他所管的本境修造。其次是利未人弟兄中管理基伊拉那一半、希拿達的兒子巴瓦伊修造。其次是管理米斯巴、耶書亞的兒子以謝修造一段，對着武庫的上坡、城牆轉彎之處。其次是薩拜的兒子巴錄竭力修造一段，從城牆轉彎，直到大祭司以利亞實的府門。其次是哈哥斯的孫子、烏利亞的兒子米利末修造一段，從以利亞實的府門，直到以利亞實府的盡頭。其次是住平原的祭司修造。其次是便雅憫與哈述對着自己的房屋修造。其次是亞難尼的孫子、瑪西雅的兒子亞撒利雅在靠近自己的房屋修造。其次是希拿達的兒子賓內修造一段，從亞撒利雅的房屋直到城牆轉彎，又到城角。烏賽的兒子巴拉修造對着城牆的轉彎和王上宮凸出來的城樓，靠近護衛院的那一段。其次是巴錄的兒子毗大雅修造。（尼提寧住在俄斐勒，直到朝東水門的對面和凸出來的城樓。）其次是提哥亞人又修一段，對着那凸出來的大樓，直到俄斐勒的牆。從馬門往上，眾祭司各對自己的房屋修造。其次是音麥的兒子撒督對着自己的房屋修造。其次是守東門、示迦尼的兒子示瑪雅修造。其次是示利米雅的兒子哈拿尼雅和薩拉的第六子哈嫩又修一段。其次是比利迦的兒子米書蘭對着自己的房屋修造。其次是銀匠瑪基雅修造到尼提寧和商人的房屋，對着哈米弗甲門，直到城的角樓。銀匠與商人在城的角樓和羊門中間修造。

歡歡喜喜地守除酵節七日；因為耶和華使他們歡喜，又使亞述王的心轉向他們，堅固他們的手，作以色列神殿的工程。

以後，我對他們說：「我們所遭的難，耶路撒冷怎樣荒涼，城門被火焚燒，你們都看見了。來吧，我們重建耶路撒冷的城牆，免得再受凌辱！」我告訴他們我神施恩的手怎樣幫助我，並王對我所說的話。他們就說：「我們起來建造吧！」於是他們奮勇做這善工。

以斯拉說：「耶和華－我們列祖的神是應當稱頌的！因他使王起這心意修飾耶路撒冷耶和華的殿，又在王和謀士，並大能的軍長面前施恩於我。因耶和華－我神的手幫助我，我就得以堅強，從以色列中招聚首領，與我一同上來。」
