尼尼微现在空虚荒凉，人心消化，双膝相碰，腰都疼痛，脸都变色。

现在却空虚、荒凉，一无所有；人心惊惶，两膝发抖，全身疼痛，面无血色。

尼尼微現在空虛荒涼，人心消化，雙膝相碰，腰都疼痛，臉都變色。

荒蕪，荒涼，全然荒廢，人心害怕，雙膝顫抖，腰部疼痛，臉都變色。

尼尼微被洗劫一空！被洗劫一空！一片荒涼！人們膽戰心驚，雙膝哆嗦，渾身發抖，面色蒼白。

現在卻空虛、荒涼，一無所有；人心驚惶，兩膝發抖，全身疼痛，面無血色。

空空如也，空空、荒蕪！人人膽戰心驚，雙膝軟顫，腰都扭轉難過，臉都失色變青！

邑既空虛荒涼、人心消沮、兩膝相觸、腰間痛楚、面俱失色、

城邑空虛、變為荒土、人皆喪膽、兩股戰慄、腰骨殊痛、悚惶變色、

尼尼微邑全然空虛、變為荒邱、居民膽怯、兩膝戰慄、彼此相擊、諸腰痛楚、諸面變色、

She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale.

Nineveh is destroyed, robbed and stripped! Hearts melt away in fear. Knees give way. Bodies tremble with fear. Everyone’s face turns pale.

Desolate! Desolation and ruin! Hearts melt and knees tremble; anguish is in all loins; all faces grow pale!

Soon the city is plundered, empty, and ruined. Hearts melt and knees shake. The people stand aghast, their faces pale and trembling.

Desolation, decimation, devastation! Hearts melt, knees tremble, insides churn, every face grows pale!

She is emptied! Yes, she is desolate and waste! Hearts are melting and knees wobbling! Also trembling is in the entire body, And all their faces have become pale!

She is empty, desolate, and waste! The heart melts, and the knees shake; Much pain is in every side, And all their faces are drained of color.

She is empty, and void, and waste; and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and anguish is in all loins, and the faces of them all are waxed pale.

Desolation, decimation, devastation! Hearts melt, knees tremble, loins shake, every face grows pale!

Destruction, devastation, and desolation! Their hearts faint, their knees tremble, each stomach churns, each face turns pale!

我像水一樣被傾倒，我全身的骨頭都脫節了；我的心像蠟那樣，在我裡面融化。

因此，人人必雙手發軟，個個都心融膽喪。他們必惶恐，劇痛和痛苦抓住他們；他們必疼痛，像臨產的婦女那樣。他們彼此驚奇對望，面色如火焰。

為此，我的腰滿是疼痛，劇痛抓住了我，好像臨產婦女的劇痛。我惶惑得不能聽，我惶恐得不能看。

看哪！耶和華使大地空廢，變得荒涼；又使地面扭曲，使地上的居民四散。

晝夜總不熄滅，煙氣永遠上騰；那地世世代代荒涼，永永遠遠無人經過。鵜鶘和豪豬將占有那地，貓頭鷹和烏鴉將居住其中；耶和華要把準繩和線砣拉在其上，使它變得空虛混沌。那裡沒有貴族來宣稱王權，所有的首領也都歸於無有。它的城堡將長出荊棘，堡壘長出灌木叢和蒺藜；它必成為豺狗的巢、鴕鳥的窩。曠野的走獸要與土狼相遇，野山羊要呼叫同伴，夜行動物要在那裡棲身，為自己找到歇息之處。貓頭鷹要在那裡築窩、下蛋、孵化，並在它的陰影下聚攏幼雛；鷹隼也在那裡各與自己的伴偶聚集。

隨後，一位強有力的天使拿起一塊像大磨石那樣的石頭，把它丟進海裡，說：「大巴比倫城也將這樣被猛烈地扔下去，絕不會再找到了！彈琴的、奏樂的、吹笛的、吹號之人的聲音，在你中間絕不會再聽到了！各種手藝的工匠，在你中間絕不會再找到了！磨石的聲音，在你中間絕不會再聽到了！燈的亮光，在你中間絕不會再照耀了！新郎和新娘的聲音，在你中間絕不會再聽到了！因為你的商人一向是地上的大人物，又因為萬國都被你的邪術所迷惑，

「我必使巴比倫成為豪豬的占居之地，使它成為泥水沼澤；我必用毀滅的掃帚將它掃淨！」萬軍之耶和華如此宣告。

巴比倫——列國的華美，迦勒底人所誇耀的光榮，必像神覆滅的所多瑪和格摩拉那樣；那地必永無人煙，世世代代無人居住；阿拉伯人不會在那裡支搭帳篷，牧人也不會讓羊群躺臥在那裡；曠野的走獸卻會躺臥在那裡，咆哮的野獸必占滿他們的房屋，鴕鳥住在那裡，野山羊在那裡跳躍，土狼在城樓、豺狗在華美的宮殿嚎叫。巴比倫的那一刻臨近了，它的時日必不延長！

那時大地空虛混沌，黑暗在淵面上，神的靈運行在水面上。
