A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud,“ This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”

雲適覆之、自雲有聲云、此我愛子、爾其聽之、

倏有朵雲覆之、雲間發音云、『此我愛子、爾其聽之。』

Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud:“ This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”

For he received from God the Father honor and glory when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

A voice came out of the sky,“ You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don’t provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him.But if you indeed listen to his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.

Nathanael answered him,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!”

I have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”

We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.

Yahweh’s glory settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the middle of the cloud.

Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.

Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said,“ Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?”

For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who doesn’t honor the Son doesn’t honor the Father who sent him.“ Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.Most certainly I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live.

While he said these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered into the cloud.A voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!”When the voice came, Jesus was found alone. They were silent, and told no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

The Father himself, who sent me, has testified about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.

who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

I will tell of the decree: Yahweh said to me,“ You are my son. Today I have become your father.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.Jesus came and touched them and said,“ Get up, and don’t be afraid.”

By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

For this cause therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

He trusts in God. Let God deliver him now, if he wants him; for he said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying,“ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”

Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said,“ Do you believe in the Son of God?”

Yahweh your God will raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.This is according to all that you desired of Yahweh your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying,“ Let me not hear again Yahweh my God’s voice, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die.”Yahweh said to me,“ They have well said that which they have spoken.I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you. I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.It shall happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

It came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled Yahweh’s house,so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for Yahweh’s glory filled Yahweh’s house.Then Solomon said,“ Yahweh has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

For Moses indeed said to the fathers,‘ The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Now the centurion, and those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying,“ Truly this was the Son of God.”

The Jews answered him,“ We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.”

but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

“ I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

But Jesus held his peace. The high priest answered him,“ I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.”Jesus said to him,“ You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.”

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

This is that Moses, who said to the children of Israel,‘ The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.’
