And a voice came from heaven,“ You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”

Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him.“ But if you carefully obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

Nathanael answered him,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.

The glory of the Lord dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said,“ See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?”

For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.“ Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

As he was saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.And a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!”And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.

And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen,

and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me,“ You are my Son; today I have begotten you.

He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,“ This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified.But Jesus came and touched them, saying,“ Rise, and have no fear.”

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

“ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him. For he said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”

See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised,“ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”

Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said,“ Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

“ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers— it is to him you shall listen—just as you desired of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said,‘ Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’And the Lord said to me,‘ They are right in what they have spoken.I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him.

And when the priests came out of the Holy Place, a cloud filled the house of the Lord,so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.Then Solomon said,“ The Lord has said that he would dwell in thick darkness.

Moses said,‘ The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people.’

When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said,“ Truly this was the Son of God!”

The Jews answered him,“ We have a law, and according to that law he ought to die because he has made himself the Son of God.”

but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

“ I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him.

But Jesus remained silent. And the high priest said to him,“ I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”Jesus said to him,“ You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

This is the Moses who said to the Israelites,‘ God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers.’
