耶穌曰：『勿禁。未有奉我名義以行異蹟、而轉又謗我者。

But Jesus said,“ Do not hinder him, for there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name, and be able soon afterward to speak evil of Me.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man who shall do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.

“ Don’t stop him,” said Jesus,“ because there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name who can soon afterward speak evil of Me.

所以，我要你們知道，被神的靈感動的，沒有人會說「耶穌該受詛咒」；若不是被聖靈感動的，也沒有人能說「耶穌是主」。

這又何妨呢？或是假意或是真心，無論如何，只要基督被傳開了，為此我就歡喜。我還要歡喜，

主人回答他們：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人對他說：『你要我們去拔掉嗎？』主人說：『不必，恐怕拔雜草，也把麥子連根拔出來。

我若能說人間的方言，甚至天使的語言，卻沒有愛，我就成為鳴的鑼、響的鈸一般。我若有先知講道的能力，也明白各樣的奧祕，各樣的知識，而且有齊備的信心，使我能夠移山，卻沒有愛，我就算不了甚麼。

有人帶着小孩子來見耶穌，要他摸他們，門徒就責備那些人。耶穌看見就很生氣，對門徒說：「讓小孩到我這裏來，不要阻止他們，因為在神國的正是這樣的人。

在那日必有許多人對我說：『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行許多異能嗎？』我要向他們宣告：『我從來不認識你們，你們這些作惡的人，給我走開！』」

我克制己身，使它完全順服，免得我傳福音給別人，自己反而被淘汰了。

那時，有幾個巡迴各處念咒趕鬼的猶太人，擅自利用主耶穌的名，向那些被邪靈所附的人說：「我奉保羅所傳的耶穌命令你們出來！」做這事的是猶太祭司長士基瓦的七個兒子。但邪靈回答他們：「耶穌我知道，保羅我也認識，你們卻是誰呢？」被邪靈所附的人就撲到他們身上，制伏他們，勝過他們，使他們赤着身子，受了傷，從那房子裏逃出去了。
