曰：『凡以我名義、能納一介小子如此孩者、便是納我；納我者、非納我、乃納遣我者。』

“ Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”

“ Anyone who welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me. And anyone who welcomes me also welcomes the one who sent me.”

“ Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.”

“ Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me.”

「我實在告訴你們，你們若不變得像小孩子那樣，絕不能進天國。所以，凡像這小孩子一樣謙卑的人，在天國才是最偉大的。「任何人為了我的名而接待這樣一個小孩子，就是接待了我。

「人接待你們就是接待我，接待我就是接待差我來的那位。因為某人是先知而接待他的，必得到和先知一樣的賞賜；因為某人是義人而接待他的，必得到和義人一樣的賞賜。人若接待我門徒中最卑微的人，並因為他是我的門徒而給他一杯涼水喝，我實在告訴你們，那人必得到賞賜。」

耶穌繼續對門徒說：「誰聽從你們，就是聽從我；誰拒絕你們，就是拒絕我；拒絕我的，就是拒絕差我來的那位。」

然後對門徒說：「任何人為了我的緣故接待這樣一個小孩子，就是接待我；接待我，就是接待差我來的那位。你們當中最卑微的其實是最偉大的。」

我和父本為一。」

接受我的命令又遵行的，就是愛我的人。愛我的，父必定愛他，我也要愛他，並且要親自向他顯現。」猶大，不是後來出賣耶穌的猶大，問耶穌：「主啊，你為什麼只向我們顯現而不向世人顯現呢？」耶穌回答說：「愛我的人必遵行我的道，我父也必愛他，並且我們要到他那裡與他同住。

耶穌高聲說：「信我的，其實不只是信我，而是信差我來的那位。人看見了我，就是看見了差我來的那位。

叫人尊敬子如同尊敬父。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子來的父。

你們切不可輕視任何一位卑微的人。我告訴你們，他們的天使在天上常見我天父的面。

「王會回答說，『我實在告訴你們，你們幫助我最卑微的一個弟兄，就是幫助我了。』

所以，人若拒絕遵行這命令，他不是拒絕人，而是拒絕賜聖靈給你們的上帝。
