And they kept[ it] close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel[ that] which he was commanded.And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks[ one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.His head and[ his] hairs[ were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes[ were] as a flame of fire;And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance[ was] as the sun shineth in his strength.And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him,[ there is] no beauty that we should desire him.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

This[ is] the third[ time] I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

When Jesus heard[ of it], he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard[ thereof], they followed him on foot out of the cities.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what[ is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

But if the ministration of death, written[ and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which[ glory] was to be done away:How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?For if the ministration of condemnation[ be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid[ him] on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour[ it] on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
