曰：『攜來與我。』既命眾人席草而坐、持五餅二魚、仰天祝謝、剖餅授徒、徒轉授於眾、

耶穌曰：『令眾坐。』其地有草如茵、眾即席地而坐、數約五千。耶穌取餅祝謝、分與坐眾、各隨所欲、魚亦如之。

聖母顧謂侍僕曰：『渠有所諭、悉遵行之。』

乃命眾席地坐、持七餅及小魚、祝謝畢、剖而授徒、徒以授眾；

方食、耶穌持餅、剖而授徒曰：『爾等食之、此吾體也、』

耶穌諭徒令眾成列、席草而坐、眾如命、有百人為一列者、有五十人者、坐定、耶穌持餅與魚、仰天祝福、分餅授徒置眾前、魚亦然：眾食且飽、拾餅屑殘魚盈十二筐；食者數約五千。

我既每飯不忘主恩、奈何以謝恩之由、轉成他人訾議之因。是故飲食舉止、皆須以天主之光榮為前提。

同時有數艇來自諦比略、泊近耶穌所嘗祝謝而以餅食眾之處。

凡所言所行、皆須以主耶穌名義為之、且因彼而致謝於天主聖父焉。

乃相與入室、餐時、耶穌持餅祝謝、剖而授之、

禁止嫁娶、戒絕某種食物；夫食物乃天主所造也、亦在具有信德、而身體真道者、感恩受之而已矣。蓋天主所造皆善、固無有一物可以暴棄也。惟受之者當飲水思源耳。憑天主之聖言、及吾人之祈禱、萬物皆成聖潔矣。
