For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples,“ Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”And they did so, and had them all sit down.

And he said,“ Bring them here to me.”Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

Jesus said,“ Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number.Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.

His mother said to the servants,“ Do whatever he tells you.”

And he divided the two fish among them all.And they all ate and were satisfied.And they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish.And those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that for which I give thanks?So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Other boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them.

who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.
