He replied,“ Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:“‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

Jesus replied,“ You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote,‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

He answered them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

But He said to them,“ Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.

He answered and said to them,“ Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.

He answered them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: These people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with[ their] lips, but their heart is far from me.

主曰、斯民以口舌附我、言則敬我、而心則遠我、其敬畏我者、苟隨流俗而已。

若此者、言則識上帝、行則拒之、惟務違逆、自絕於善、可疾孰甚焉、

彼既至、坐於爾前、若我民然、聽爾言而不行、口所言則愛爾不置、其心貪婪、

偽善者乎、以賽亞預言指爾者、誠是、其言曰、斯民以口舌附我敬我、而心則遠我、所教乃人所命、故徒拜我、○

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾當人前閉天國、爾自不進、而將進者、爾不許、偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾幷吞嫠婦家貲、而佯為長祈、故受罪尤重也、偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾周行水陸、使一人進教、既進、又使為地獄之人、較倍於爾也、

兄弟乎、人言信主而不行善、何益之有、第信不行、豈能得救乎、兄弟姊妹、衣食匱乏、而爾曰、安然以往、願爾得溫飽、如不以彼所需賜之、何益之有、第信不行、其信歸於無有、

有敬虔之名、無敬虔之實、若此者、當遠之、

主曰、爾𠵽唎㘔人、惟杯盤之外是潔、而盛諸杯盤者、莫非劫奪非義之類、不知潔其外者、亦必潔其內、無知者乎、爾自以為吾取盤中之物、以分人、則無不潔矣、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、蓋爾於薄荷、芸香、菜蔬、十輸其一、而義與愛上帝、則廢之、然爾所當行者此也、彼第不可遺耳、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、蓋爾喜會堂高坐、市上問安、偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、蓋爾似隱沒之墓、履其上者不知也、○

但我知爾心不愛上帝、

我若在眾前、未行人所不能行者、則其人無罪、今其於我及我父、且見且惡之、

特行爾父所行耳、眾曰、我儕非由淫而生、我儕有一父、即上帝也耶穌曰、若上帝為爾父、則必愛我、因我出自上帝、非自擅而來、乃上帝遣我、

耶穌曰、我若自榮、則不得為榮、榮我者父、即爾所稱爾之上帝、爾不識之我識之、若我言不識、則誑如爾、惟我識之、而守其道、

兩不相合、將散、保羅發言曰、昔聖神以先知以賽亞、告我列祖者、其言誠是、云、
