凡用肚子行走的和用四足行走的，或是有許多足的，就是一切爬在地上的，你們都不可吃，因為是可憎的。你們不可因甚麼爬物使自己成為可憎的，也不可因這些使自己不潔淨，以致染了污穢。我是耶和華－你們的神；所以你們要成為聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。你們也不可因地上的爬物污穢自己。我是把你們從埃及地領出來的耶和華，要作你們的神；所以你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」這是走獸、飛鳥，和水中游動的活物，並地上爬物的條例。要把潔淨的和不潔淨的，可吃的與不可吃的活物，都分別出來。

你要保守你心，勝過保守一切，因為一生的果效是由心發出。

在潔淨的人，凡物都潔淨；在污穢不信的人，甚麼都不潔淨，連心地和天良也都污穢了。

就對他們說：「你們知道，猶太人和別國的人親近來往本是不合例的，但神已經指示我，無論甚麼人都不可看作俗而不潔淨的。

因為神的國不在乎吃喝，只在乎公義、和平，並聖靈中的喜樂。

耶穌說：「你們到如今還不明白嗎？

彼得卻說：「主啊，這是不可的！凡俗物和不潔淨的物，我從來沒有吃過。」第二次有聲音向他說：「神所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。」這樣一連三次，那物隨即收回天上去了。

這些事，連那飲食和諸般洗濯的規矩，都不過是屬肉體的條例，命定到振興的時候為止。

只要寫信，吩咐他們禁戒偶像的污穢和姦淫，並勒死的牲畜和血。因為從古以來，摩西的書在各城有人傳講，每逢安息日，在會堂裏誦讀。」

我說：『主啊，這是不可的！凡俗而不潔淨的物從來沒有入過我的口。』第二次，有聲音從天上說：『神所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。』這樣一連三次，就都收回天上去了。

毒蛇的種類！你們既是惡人，怎能說出好話來呢？因為心裏所充滿的，口裏就說出來。

你們不要被那諸般怪異的教訓勾引了去；因為人心靠恩得堅固才是好的，並不是靠飲食。那在飲食上專心的從來沒有得着益處。

他們禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物，就是神所造、叫那信而明白真道的人感謝着領受的。凡神所造的物都是好的，若感謝着領受，就沒有一樣可棄的，都因神的道和人的祈求成為聖潔了。

耶穌對他們說：「你們也是這樣不明白嗎？豈不曉得凡從外面進入的，不能污穢人，因為不是入他的心，乃是入他的肚腹，又落到茅廁裏（這是說，各樣的食物都是潔淨的）」；又說：「從人裏面出來的，那才能污穢人；因為從裏面，就是從人心裏，發出惡念、苟合、偷盜、凶殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、淫蕩、嫉妒、謗讟、驕傲、狂妄。這一切的惡都是從裏面出來，且能污穢人。」

凡市上所賣的，你們只管吃，不要為良心的緣故問甚麼話，
