你要保守你心，胜过保守一切，因为一生的果效是由心发出。

在洁净的人，凡物都洁净；在污秽不信的人，什么都不洁净，连心地和天良也都污秽了。

就对他们说：“你们知道，犹太人和别国的人亲近来往本是不合例的，但神已经指示我，无论什么人都不可看作俗而不洁净的。

因为神的国不在乎吃喝，只在乎公义、和平，并圣灵中的喜乐。

这些事，连那饮食和诸般洗濯的规矩，都不过是属肉体的条例，命定到振兴的时候为止。

耶稣对他们说：“你们也是这样不明白吗？岂不晓得凡从外面进入的，不能污秽人，因为不是入他的心，乃是入他的肚腹，又落到茅厕里（这是说，各样的食物都是洁净的）”；又说：“从人里面出来的，那才能污秽人；因为从里面，就是从人心里，发出恶念、苟合、偷盗、凶杀、奸淫、贪婪、邪恶、诡诈、淫荡、嫉妒、谤讟、骄傲、狂妄。这一切的恶都是从里面出来，且能污秽人。”
