And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

于是女孩出去问她母亲说：“我应该要什么呢？”她母亲说：“要施洗者约翰的头！”

她就出去對她母親說：「我可以求甚麼呢？」她母親說：「施洗約翰的頭。」

女退詢母將何求、母曰：『施洗者如望之首。』

She went out and said to her mother,“ What shall I ask for?”“ The head of John the Baptist,” she answered.

She went out and said to her mother,“ What should I ask for?”“ The head of John the Baptist,” she answered.

And she went out and said to her mother,“ For what should I ask?” And she said,“ The head of John the Baptist.”

She went out and asked her mother,“ What should I ask for?” Her mother told her,“ Ask for the head of John the Baptist!”

She went out and said to her mother,“ What should I ask for?”“ John the Baptist’s head,” she said.

And she went out and said to her mother,“ What shall I ask for?” And she said,“ The head of John the Baptist.”

So she went out and said to her mother,“ What shall I ask?” And she said,“ The head of John the Baptist!”

And she went out, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptizer.

Then she went out and said to her mother,“ What should I ask for?”“ John the Baptist’s head!” she said.

So she went out and said to her mother,“ What should I ask for?” Her mother said,“ The head of John the baptizer.”

She went out, and said to her mother,“ What shall I ask?” She said,“ The head of John the Baptizer.”

He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

A stone[ is] heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool’s wrath[ is] heavier than them both.Wrath[ is] cruel, and anger[ is] outrageous; but who[ is] able to stand before envy?

The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy,[ and] to slay such as be of upright conversation.

And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist’s head in a charger.

And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.
