那些污灵就央求耶稣，说：“求你打发我们到猪群里，好让我们进入猪里面去吧！”

那些汙靈就央求耶穌，說：「求你打發我們到豬群裡，好讓我們進入豬裡面去吧！」

眾鬼求曰、使我入附於豕、

眾鬼求曰、容我入豕群、

眾魔求曰、容我入豕群而附之、

魔因乞曰：『縱我入豕群可乎。』

The demons begged Jesus,“ Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.”

“ Send us into those pigs,” the spirits begged.“ Let us enter them.”

so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

But stretch out your hand and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse you to your face.”

Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face.”And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
