门徒非常惧怕，彼此说：“这到底是谁，连风和海都听从他？”

眾駭甚、相語曰、彼何人斯、風與海亦順之也、

眾甚駭、彼此相告曰、斯何人耶、風與海亦順之也、

眾甚驚駭、相語曰、此何人也、風與海亦順之、

眾駭甚、彼此相告曰：『斯何人哉！並風與海亦惟命是聽矣！』

They were terrified and asked each other,“ Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

在圣者的议会中，神是令人惊惧的，比一切在他周围的都更为可畏。

众人都惊奇，说：“这是什么人，连风和海也听从他？”

你们只要敬畏耶和华，诚实全心事奉他，因为你们已经看过他为你们所作的是何等大的事。

耶稣对他们说：“你们的信心在哪里？”他们又惧怕、又希奇，彼此说：“这到底是谁？他吩咐风浪，连风浪也听从他。”

他们上了船，风就平静了。

主啊！谁敢不敬畏你，不荣耀你的名呢？因为只有你是神圣的，万国都要来，在你面前下拜，因为你公义的作为已经显明出来了。”

说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过，你狂傲的波浪要在这里止住。’

那女人知道在她身上所成就的事，就恐惧战兢地前来向耶稣俯伏，把实情全告诉了他。

于是撒母耳向耶和华呼求，耶和华就在那天打雷降雨，众民就非常惧怕耶和华和撒母耳。众民对撒母耳说：“求你为仆人向耶和华你的神祷告，免得我们死亡，因为我们为自己要求立王的事，是在我们的一切罪上又增加了这一件恶事。”撒母耳对人民说：“不要惧怕！虽然你们行了这一切恶事，只是不可偏离不跟随耶和华，总要一心事奉他。

我与他所立的是生命和平安的约，也把这些赐给了他。我要使他敬畏我，又畏惧我的名。

于是他们把约拿抬起来，投在海里，怒涛就平息了。那些人就大大敬畏耶和华，向他献祭和许愿。

他回答说：“我是希伯来人，我敬畏耶和华天上的神，就是那创造海洋和陆地的。”众人就大大惧怕，对他说：“你为什么这样作呢？（“你为什么这样作呢？”或译：“你作的是什么呢？”）”那些人知道他躲避耶和华，原来约拿告诉了他们。

众人非常惊讶说：“他所作的一切事都好极了；他竟然使聋子听见，又使哑巴说话。”

因此，我们既然领受了不能震动的国，就应该感恩，照着神所喜悦的，用虔诚敬畏的心事奉他；

众人都惊骇，彼此谈论说：“这是怎么回事？他用权柄能力吩咐污灵，污灵竟出来了。”
