耶穌怒視周眾、哀其心之麻木不仁。顧謂痺手者曰：『伸爾手。』伸之手立愈。

He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored.

Jesus looked around at them in anger. He was very upset because their hearts were stubborn. Then he said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand had become as good as new.

And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

He looked around at them angrily and was deeply saddened by their hard hearts. Then he said to the man,“ Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored!

遂環視眾、謂其人曰、伸手、伸即愈、如他手、

心思蒙昧、頑囂無知、棄上帝生命之道、

怒不可過、勿藏怒至日沒時、

遂語其人曰、伸手、伸即愈、如他手、

兄弟乎、余甚欲爾克知斯奧、免爾自恃為智、即以色列中數頑人、迨眾異邦人之歸、而後悉得救、

故我憾當時之人、曰、厥心常迷、不識余途、

曰、往告斯民、云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、任斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視耳聽心悟、遷改而得醫焉、

於是耶和華既造世人、旋有悔心、愀然憂之。

曰、吾語汝、若輩緘默、石能言矣、○既近、見城、哭、曰、今猶為爾日、及是時、而知關爾平安之事、則幸、過此、隱於爾目矣、日至、敵必築壘環繞、四面困爾、夷爾及赤子、不遺石於石上、以爾不知眷顧之日也、○

王告上帝之僕曰、請爾在爾上帝耶和華前祈禱、俾我手得愈。上帝之僕求於耶和華前、王手遂愈、仍如平時。

維彼不識不知、其目若塗以泥、其心不明、孰能深思其故、奮然儆醒曰、材木之半、焚之可以烘餅炙肉、而供口腹、則其餘材、豈可作像、拜此可憎之榾柮。彼心昏迷、所望成空、若食燼餘而不悟、不知右手所作、悉屬虛妄。

歷四十載、我憾當時之人曰、厥心常迷、不識余途兮。

語之曰、往洗於西羅亞池、其人往洗、反即明矣、西羅亞、譯即奉使者、○

民遭患難、主懷憂戚、自天遣使、以拯其災、特加眷愛、以贖其身、自昔迄今、扶翼之者屢矣。斯民違逆、使聖神懷憂、故耶和華視若讎民、而攻擊之。

曰、然則以色列人所求者、有不得乎、曰、選民得之、其餘則頑也、經云、上帝任其昏昧、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大闢曰、厥席成機檻以陷之、為礙石以罰之、厥目矇而勿見、厥背屈而不伸、

上帝於四十載中憾誰、非犯罪而暴骨於野者乎、

主曰、偽善者乎、爾曹安息日、孰不解牛驢於廄、牽以飲之乎、

耶穌視之曰、往示祭司、往時即潔矣、

其人如是、應以賽亞預言云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之焉、

既為完人、故恆為信從者得救之原、

籲呼山巖壓己、不令坐位之主見之、及為羔所怒、

我甚殷憂、彼取器皿、擲諸室外、

以色列人心頑、至於今日、其讀舊約、如帕蒙心、不知此帕、基督去之、

遂去他上帝、事耶和華。耶和華見以色列族困苦、則中心愀然。

耶穌曰、起、取床以行、其人立愈、取床而行、是日乃安息日、○

爾曹耳聾者宜聽、心盲者宜視、爾雖為我耶和華所遣之僕、所愛之民、無如爾聾爾瞽、甚於諸人、雖熟視若無睹、雖諦聽而不聞、

上帝之聖神印爾、至於贖日、毋令彼憂、
