西庇太的儿子雅各，雅各的弟弟约翰——耶稣给他们起名叫“波阿内格”——这意思是“雷霆之子”；

慈伯德子雅谷伯暨弟若望、二子亦稱罷吶熱譯言雷霆之子；

James son of Zebedee and his brother John( to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means“ sons of thunder”),

There were James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John. Jesus gave them the name Boanerges. Boanerges means Sons of Thunder.

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder);

James and John( the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them“ Sons of Thunder”),

and to James the son of Zebedee, and to his brother John, he gave the name“ Boanerges”( that is,“ Sons of Thunder”);

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to them He gave the name Boanerges, which means,“ Sons of Thunder”);

James the son of Zebedee; and John, the brother of James,( whom he called Boanerges, which means, Sons of Thunder);

我的话岂不像火，又像能打碎磐石的大锤吗？这是耶和华说的。

神的道是活泼的，是有功效的，比一切两刃的剑更锋利，甚至魂与灵、骨节与骨髓，都能刺入、剖开，连心中的思念和主意都能辨明。

过了六天，耶稣带着彼得、雅各、约翰，领他们悄悄地上了高山。他在他们面前变了形像，

你要大声喊叫，不要停止；要扬声，好像吹角；向我的百姓宣告他们的过犯，向雅各家陈述他们的罪恶。

约在那时候，希律王下手苦待教会中的一些人，

耶稣稍往前走，又见西庇太的儿子雅各和他弟弟约翰在船上补网。耶稣随即呼召他们，他们就把父亲西庇太和雇工留在船上，跟从了耶稣。

于是他带着彼得、雅各和约翰同去。他惊恐起来，极其难过，

西庇太的儿子雅各和约翰进前来，对耶稣说：“老师，我们无论求你什么，愿你为我们做。”

西门‧彼得、叫低土马的多马、加利利的迦拿人拿但业、西庇太的两个儿子，和另外两个门徒，都在一起。

彼得转过身来，看见耶稣所爱的那门徒跟着，就是在晚餐时靠着耶稣胸膛说“主啊，出卖你的是谁”的那门徒。彼得看见他，就问耶稣：“主啊，这个人怎样呢？”耶稣对他说：“假如我要他等到我来的时候还在，跟你有什么关系呢？你跟从我吧！”于是这话在弟兄中间流传，说那门徒不死。其实，耶稣不是说他不死，而是对彼得说：“假如我要他等到我来的时候还在，跟你有什么关系呢？”这门徒就是为这些事作见证、并且记载这些事的，我们知道他的见证是真的。耶稣所行的事还有许多，若是一一都写出来，我想，就是全世界也容不下所要写的书。

于是他带着彼得、雅各和雅各的弟弟约翰同去，不许别人跟着他。

天使们对我说：“你必须指着许多民族、邦国、语言、君王再说预言。”
