慈伯德子雅谷伯暨弟若望、二子亦稱罷吶熱譯言雷霆之子；

James son of Zebedee and his brother John( to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means“ sons of thunder”),

There were James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John. Jesus gave them the name Boanerges. Boanerges means Sons of Thunder.

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder);

James and John( the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them“ Sons of Thunder”),

and to James the son of Zebedee, and to his brother John, he gave the name“ Boanerges”( that is,“ Sons of Thunder”);

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to them He gave the name Boanerges, which means,“ Sons of Thunder”);

永恆主發神諭說，我的話豈不是像火？豈不是像能擊碎碞石的大鎚麼？

因為上帝之道是活的，是有效力的；比一切雙刃的刀還快，甚至於人的魂與靈、骨節與骨髓之分際、都能刺入；連人心中的思想與念頭、也能辨明。

過了六天，耶穌帶着彼得雅各約翰，領他們上了高山，單獨地另在一處。在他們面前他變了形質了：

『你要張開喉嚨來喊叫，別留餘力哦！要揚起聲來、像號角聲一樣；要向我人民宣佈他們的過犯，向雅各家指明他們的罪。

約當那時、希律王下手苦害屬教會的幾個人。

耶穌稍往前走，看見西庇太的兒子雅各、和雅各的兄弟約翰、在船上修整着網子。耶穌隨即呼召他們；他們就撇下了他們的父親西庇太在船上同雇工的人，起身跟着耶穌。

於是帶着彼得雅各和約翰、同他到一邊去，就非常驚恐，極其難過。

西庇太的兒子雅各約翰走近耶穌跟前來，對他說：『老師，我們無論向你求甚麼，願你給我們作。』

當時在一處的有西門彼得、和稱為雙生的多馬，有加利利的迦拿人拿但業、和西庇太的兩個兒子，另外還有兩個門徒。

彼得轉了身，看見耶穌所愛的那門徒跟着，就是在晚飯時斜靠着耶穌胸膛說：「主啊，把你送官的是誰？」的。彼得看見這個人，就對耶穌說：『主啊，這人怎麼樣呢？』耶穌對彼得說：『我若願意他存留着、等到我來，與你何干？你、跟着我！」於是這話就傳出來、在弟兄中間、說那門徒必不死。其實耶穌並沒有對彼得說他必不死，乃是說：『我若願意他存留着、等到我來，與你何干？』這個人就是那為這些事作見證、將這些事寫下來的那位門徒；我們知道他的見證是真實的。耶穌所行的還有許多別的事。若一一都寫下來，我想所寫的書、就是世界也容不下。

他不許任何人跟隨着他，只許彼得雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰。

他們對我說：『你應該再傳神言、論到許多民族、許多邦國、許多種語言的人、和許多王。』
