Whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, those possessed fell down before Him and cried out,“ You are the Son of God!”

Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out,“ You are the Son of God.”

When people controlled by evil spirits saw him, they fell down in front of him. The spirits shouted,“ You are the Son of God!”

And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out,“ You are the Son of God.”

And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, the spirits would throw them to the ground in front of him shrieking,“ You are the Son of God!”

Just then a man with an unclean spirit was in their synagogue. He cried out,“ What do You have to do with us, Jesus— Nazarene? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are— the Holy One of God!”

Then the tempter approached Him and said,“ If You are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

Also, demons were coming out of many, shouting and saying,“ You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Messiah.

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and said in a loud voice,“ What do You have to do with me, Jesus, You Son of the Most High God? I beg You, don’t torment me!”

As she followed Paul and us she cried out,“ These men, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation, are the slaves of the Most High God.”

You believe that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe— and they shudder.

“ If You drive us out,” the demons begged Him,“ send us into the herd of pigs.”

and said to Him,“ If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: He will give His angels orders concerning you, and they will support you with their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”

Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists attempted to pronounce the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying,“ I command you by the Jesus that Paul preaches!”Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.The evil spirit answered them,“ I know Jesus, and I recognize Paul— but who are you?”Then the man who had the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them all, and prevailed against them, so that they ran out of that house naked and wounded.This became known to everyone who lived in Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. Then fear fell on all of them, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

And always, night and day, he was crying out among the tombs and in the mountains and cutting himself with stones.When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and knelt down before Him.

Then those in the boat worshiped Him and said,“ Truly You are the Son of God!”
