他们喊叫：“神的儿子，我们跟你有什么关系呢？时候还没有到，你就来这里叫我们受苦吗？”

就在那时，会堂里有一个被污灵附着的人，喊叫起来，说：“拿撒勒人耶稣，我们跟你有什么关系呢？你来毁灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，你是神的圣者。”

试探者前来对他说：“你若是神的儿子，就吩咐这些石头变成食物吧！”

又有鬼从好些人身上出来，喊着说：“你是神的儿子。”耶稣斥责他们，不许他们说话，因为他们知道他是基督。

他一见耶稣，就俯伏喊叫，大声说：“至高神的儿子耶稣，我跟你有什么关系呢？求你不要使我受苦。”

她跟着保罗和我们，喊叫说：“这些人是至高神的仆人，向你们传讲得救的道路。”

你信神只有一位，你信的不错；就连鬼魔也信，却是战兢。

那些鬼就求耶稣，说：“如果要赶我们出来，就准我们进到猪群里去吧。”

对他说：“你若是神的儿子，就跳下去吧！因为经上记着：‘神为了你，会吩咐自己的使者用手托住你，免得你的脚碰到石头。’”

那时，有几个赶鬼的犹太人，周游各处，擅自用主耶稣的名，向身上有邪灵的人说：“我奉保罗所传的耶稣的名，命令你们出来。”有一个犹太人士基瓦，是祭司长，他的七个儿子都作这事。邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道；你们是谁？”邪灵所附的那人就扑到他们身上，制伏了两人，胜过了他们，使他们赤着身带着伤，从那房子逃了出来。所有住在以弗所的犹太人和希腊人，都知道这件事；大家都惧怕，尊主耶稣的名为大。

他昼夜在坟墓里和山野间喊叫，又用石头砍自己。他远远地看见耶稣，就跑过去拜他，

船上的人都拜他，说：“你真是神的儿子。”

神的儿子（有些抄本无“神的儿子”一句）耶稣基督福音的开始。
