Jesus said to them,“ The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

接著，耶穌對他們說：「安息日是為人而存在的，人不是為安息日而存在的。

又曰、安息日為人而設、非人為安息日也、

又謂之曰、為人而立安息日、非為安息日而立人、

又曰：『禮日之立為人、而非人為禮日；

Then he said to them,“ The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Then Jesus said to them,“ The Sabbath day was made for man. Man was not made for the Sabbath day.

And he said to them,“ The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Then Jesus said to them,“ The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath.

Then he told them,“ The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath.

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; you shall not do any work that day, you or your son or your daughter, or your male slave or your female slave, or your ox, your donkey, or any of your cattle, or your resident who stays with you, so that your male slave and your female slave may rest as well as you.

Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day—

And Jesus said to them,“ I ask you whether it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do harm, to save a life or to destroy it?”

Also I gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, so that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

“ For six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave, as well as the stranger residing with you, may refresh themselves.

“ If, because of the Sabbath, you restrain your foot From doing as you wish on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a pleasure, and the holy day of the Lord honorable, And honor it, desisting from your own ways, From seeking your own pleasure And speaking your own word,

Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’

Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments.So You made known to them Your holy Sabbath, And gave them commandments, statutes, and law, Through Your servant Moses.

If a man receives circumcision on a Sabbath so that the Law of Moses will not be broken, are you angry at Me because I made an entire man well on a Sabbath?

So then, no one is to be boasting in people. For all things belong to you,whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come; all things belong to you,

For all things are for your sakes, so that grace, having spread to more and more people, will cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
