耶穌曰、新娶者偕在、賀婚者能禁食乎、新娶者尚在、不能禁食也、

耶穌曰、新娶者在、賀娶者安用禁食乎、蓋新娶者尚在、無庸禁食矣、

耶穌曰、新娶者尚在、賀娶之客豈可禁食、蓋新娶者尚在、彼不能禁食、

耶穌對曰：『新壻在、賀婚之友能守齋乎？蓋新壻一日與之偕、若輩即一日不宜守齋。

Jesus answered,“ How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? They cannot, so long as they have him with them.

And Jesus said to them,“ Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus replied,“ Do wedding guests fast while celebrating with the groom? Of course not. They can’t fast while the groom is with them.

And Jesus said to them,“ Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus said to them,“ The wedding guests cannot fast while the groom is with them, can they? As long as they have the groom with them, they cannot fast.

“ Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take extra oil with them;but the prudent ones took oil in flasks with their lamps.Now while the groom was delaying, they all became drowsy and began to sleep.But at midnight there finally was a shout:‘ Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.But the foolish virgins said to the prudent ones,‘ Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’However, the prudent ones answered,‘ No, there most certainly would not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

So Laban gathered all the people of the place and held a feast.

Then his father went down to the woman; and Samson held a feast there, for the young men customarily did this.When they saw him, they brought thirty companions to be with him.

There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, And young women without number;

She will be brought to the King in colorful garments; The virgins, her companions who follow her, Will be brought to You.
