On hearing this, Jesus said to them,“ It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

耶稣听见了，就说：“健康的人不需要医生，有病的人才需要，‘我喜爱怜悯，不喜爱祭祀’，你们去想一想这话的意思吧。我来不是要召义人，而是要召罪人。”

耶稣回答：“健康的人不需要医生，有病的人才需要。我来不是要召义人，而是要召罪人悔改。”

我告诉你们，因为一个罪人悔改，天上也要这样为他欢乐，比为九十九个不用悔改的义人欢乐更大。

因为人子来，是要寻找拯救失丧的人。”

“基督耶稣降世，为要拯救罪人。”这话是可信的，是值得完全接纳的。在罪人中我是个罪魁。可是，我竟然蒙了怜悯，好让基督耶稣在我这个罪魁身上，显明他完全的忍耐，给后来信他得永生的人作榜样。

我们从前也是无知、不顺服、受了迷惑、被各种私欲和逸乐所奴役，生活在恶毒和嫉妒之中，是可憎可恶的，并且互相仇视。然而，到了神我们的救主显明他的恩慈和怜爱的时候，他就救了我们，并不是由于我们所行的义，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。圣灵就是神藉着我们的救主耶稣基督丰丰富富浇灌在我们身上的，使我们既然因着他的恩典得称为义，就可以凭着永生的盼望成为后嗣。

恶人要离弃自己的道路，不义的人当除去自己的意念，回转过来归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜悯他。你们当回转过来归向我们的神，因为他大大赦免人的罪。

有些和耶稣在一起的法利赛人听了这话，就说：“难道我们也是瞎眼的吗？”

律法的出现，是要叫过犯增多；然而罪在哪里增多，恩典就更加增多了。罪藉着死掌权；照样，恩典也藉着义掌权，使人藉着我们的主耶稣基督进入永生。

你们不知道不义的人不能承受神的国吗？不要自欺，无论是行淫乱的、拜偶像的、奸淫的、作娈童的、亲男色的、偷窃的、贪心的、醉酒的、辱骂人的或勒索的，都不能承受神的国。你们有些人从前也是这样的，但现在藉着我们主耶稣基督的名，靠着我们神的灵，都已经洗净了，圣洁了，称义了。

他对父亲说：‘你看，我服事你这么多年，从来没有违背过你的命令，可是你没有给我一只山羊羔，叫我和朋友一同欢乐。

当我们还软弱的时候，基督就照所定的日期，为不敬虔的人死了。为义人死，是少有的；为好人死，或有敢作的；唯有基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死，神对我们的爱就在此显明了。

耶和华说：“你们来，我们彼此辩论；你们的罪虽像硃红，必变成雪白；虽红如丹颜，必白如羊毛。

“你们要小心，不要轻视这些小弟兄中的一个。我告诉你们，他们的使者在天上，常常见到我天父的面。﹙有些抄本有第

我告诉你们，因为一个罪人悔改，神的使者也必这样为他欢乐。”

耶稣对他们说：“你们在人面前自称为义，神却知道你们的心；因为人所高举的，神却看作是可憎恶的。

他们说：“你的确是在罪中生的，还敢教训我们吗？”就把他赶出去。

先向大马士革、耶路撒冷、犹太全地的人宣讲，后向外族人宣讲，叫他们悔改，归向神，行事与悔改的心相称。

我对犹太人和希腊人都作过见证，要他们悔改归向神，信靠我们的主耶稣。

他为我们舍己，为的是要救赎我们脱离一切不法的事，并且洁净我们作他自己的子民，热心善工。
