既而他往、見亞爾弗子理味坐稅關、召之曰：『從余。』起而從之。

As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.

As he walked along he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus. Levi was sitting at the tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me,” Jesus told him. Levi got up and followed him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at his tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Levi got up and followed him.

Then, passing by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and he said to him,“ Follow me,” and he got up and followed him.

As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting in the tax office, and He* said to him,“ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,“ Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Then, moving on, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and He said to him,“ Follow Me!” So he got up and followed Him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the[ son] of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

As he went along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax booth.“ Follow me,” he said to him. And he got up and followed him.

As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.

這些事以後、耶穌出去，看見一個收稅人、名叫利未、在稅關上坐着，就對他說：『你跟從我。』他就撇下了一切，起來跟從耶穌。利未在自己家裏為耶穌辦了盛大的迎賓席；當時有一大羣的收稅人、和跟他們一同坐席的其他人們。法利賽人和他們的經學士就唧唧咕咕向耶穌的門徒議論說：『你們為甚麼跟收稅人和「罪人」一同喫喝呢？』耶穌回答他們說：『康健的沒有需要醫生，有病的才有需要。我來不是要召義人，乃是要召罪人悔改。』

馬太和多馬、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、和稱為熱心派的人西門、

就對他們說：『來跟着我，我就使你們做得人的漁夫。』他們立刻撇下了網子，跟着他。從那裏往前走，他看見了另有兄弟二人，就是西庇太的兒子雅各、和他兄弟約翰，同他們的父親西庇太在船上、修整着網子，就呼召他們。他們立刻撇下了船和父親，來跟從耶穌。

又有安得烈、腓力、巴多羅買、馬太、多馬、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、和達太、以及熱心派的人西門、

耶穌從那裏往前走，看見一個人名叫馬太、在稅關上坐着，就對他說：『你跟從我』；他就起來跟從耶穌。耶穌在屋裏坐席，有許多收稅人和「罪人」來了，跟耶穌和他門徒一同坐席。法利賽人看見，就對耶穌的門徒說：『你們的先生為甚麼跟收稅人和「罪人」一同喫飯呢？』耶穌聽見就說：『強壯的不需要醫生，有病的才有需要。你們去研究研究「我喜愛憐憫，不喜愛祭祀」是甚麼意思。我來不是要召義人，乃是要召罪人。』

耶穌對他們說：『來跟着我，我必使你們成了得人的漁夫。』他們立刻撇下了網子，跟從他。耶穌稍往前走，看見西庇太的兒子雅各、和雅各的兄弟約翰、在船上修整着網子。耶穌隨即呼召他們；他們就撇下了他們的父親西庇太在船上同雇工的人，起身跟着耶穌。

他們一進城，就上了所寄住的房頂屋子；有彼得和約翰、雅各和安得烈、腓力和多馬、巴多羅買和馬太、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、和熱心派的人西門、以及雅各的兒子猶大。
