馬利亞卻站在墳墓外面哭。她哭的時候，低頭往墳墓裏看，看見兩個天使穿着白衣，在安放耶穌身體的地方坐着，一個在頭，一個在腳。

他的相貌如同閃電，衣服潔白如雪。

馬利亞因這話就很驚慌，又反覆思考這樣問候是甚麼意思。天使對她說：「馬利亞，不要怕，你在神面前已經蒙恩了。

眾人一見耶穌，都很驚奇，就跑上去向他問安。

撒迦利亞看見，就驚慌害怕。

然後先到墳墓的那門徒也進去，他看見就信了。

但門徒看見他在海面上走，以為是鬼怪，就喊叫起來；因為他們都看見了他，甚為驚慌。耶穌連忙對他們說：「放心！是我，不要怕！」

她們就進去，只是不見主耶穌的身體。正在為這事困惑的時候，忽然有兩個人站在旁邊，衣服放光。婦女們非常害怕，就俯伏在地上。那兩個人對她們說：「為甚麼在死人中找活人呢？

他說：「但以理啊，不要懼怕！因為自從第一日你立志要明白，又在你神面前刻苦自己，你的話已蒙應允；我就是因你的話而來。

舉目觀看，看哪，有一人身穿細麻衣，腰束烏法的純金腰帶。他的身體如水蒼玉，面貌如閃電，眼目如火把，手臂和腳如明亮的銅，說話的聲音像眾人的聲音。我－但以理一人看見這異象，跟我一起的人沒有看見，卻有極大的戰兢落在他們身上，他們就逃跑躲避，只剩下我一人。我看見這大異象就渾身無力，面容變色，毫無氣力。我聽見他說話的聲音；一聽見他說話的聲音，我就沉睡，臉伏於地。

他就來到我所站的地方。他一來，我就驚慌，臉伏於地。他對我說：「人子啊，你要明白，因為這是關乎末後時期的異象。」
