耶穌環視、謂其徒曰、有財者入上帝國難矣哉、門徒異其言、耶穌又曰、小子、恃財者入上帝國難矣哉、駝穿針孔、較富者入上帝國猶易也、門徒訝甚、曰、然則誰能得救乎、耶穌目之曰、於人固不能、於上帝則不然、蓋上帝無不能也、

彼得充於聖神、語之曰、民之有司、與長老乎、我儕今日若因行於病者之善事見訊、即斯人何由得愈、則爾眾與以色列諸民、宜知斯人得愈、立於爾前、乃因拿撒勒耶穌基督之名、即爾所釘於十架、而上帝自死而起者也、彼乃爾工師所棄之石、已成屋隅首石矣、此外別無拯救、蓋天下人間、未錫他名、我儕以之得救也、○眾見彼得約翰之果敢、且知其為無學無識之氓、則異之、又知其曾偕耶穌、
