我檢所為、歸順爾法兮、守爾誡命、弗遲弗緩兮、

爾追念曩時之惡行、為我所痛疾、則必自怨自艾。

或有免於難者、各自怨艾、逃避於山、若斑鳩歸谷、

大闢核民既畢、中心不安、禱於耶和華曰、我所行者、大干罪戾、不智孰甚、求耶和華宥僕之過。

悔曰、我父若多傭人、其糧有餘、我乃饑而死乎、我將反就父曰、我獲罪於天、及於父前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、視我如傭人足矣、

遂出痛哭云、○

耶穌曰、我誠告爾、此夜鷄未鳴、爾將三言不識我矣、

我聞以法蓮哭曰、昔予如放逸之犢、爾督責予、而我受責、爾耶和華乃我之上帝、俾我悛改。我既悛改、悔於厥衷、我既受教、擊髀浩嘆、幼時已干罪戾、既長更負愆尤、含羞抱愧、無地可容。耶和華曰、以法蓮豈非我之赤子、我所眷愛者哉、予責之、輒生憐念、予矜憫為懷、復加以撫恤。

彼得曰、爾所言、我不識也、言時、雞嗚矣、

夫遵上帝道而憂者、其悔改無後悔、而得救、從世俗而憂者、致人於死、

待我與爾復和、則爾當憶昔所為、抱慙不已、不敢自伐、我耶和華已言之矣。
