他被藐視、遭人厭棄，是個受痛苦、知憂患的人；他像一個被人掩面不看的人，他被藐視，連我們也不尊重他。

王從宮室庭園回到酒席廳，哈曼正伏在以斯帖所靠的床榻上；王就說：「這個人竟敢在宮殿裡，在我面前汙辱王后！」這話從王的口一出，人們就蒙住了哈曼的臉。
