耶穌對他們說：「你們帶著刀劍和棍棒出來抓我，就像對付強盜那樣嗎？

耶穌語眾曰、爾以刃與梃來執我、若捕盜乎、

耶穌謂眾曰、爾以刃與梃來執我、若禦寇乎、

耶穌語眾曰、爾執刃與梃來執我、若捕盜然、

耶穌向眾曰：『爾輩持梃手刃、執予如捕盜。

“ Am I leading a rebellion,” said Jesus,“ that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me?

“ Am I leading a band of armed men against you?” asked Jesus.“ Do you have to come out with swords and clubs to capture me?

And Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me?

Jesus asked them,“ Am I some dangerous revolutionary, that you come with swords and clubs to arrest me?

Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs, as if I were a criminal, to capture me?

And Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me, as you would against a man inciting a revolt?

Then Jesus answered and said to them,“ Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves to seize me?

But Jesus said to them,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs, as though I were a criminal, to capture Me?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and[ with] staves to take me?

Jesus said to them,“ Have you come with swords and clubs to arrest me like you would an outlaw?

Jesus answered them,“ Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?

Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him,“ Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs?Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour— when darkness reigns.” (niv)

“ Against whom has the king of Israel come out? Who are you pursuing? A dead dog? A flea?May the Lord be our judge and decide between us. May he consider my cause and uphold it; may he vindicate me by delivering me from your hand.” (niv)

And he added,“ Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done, and what wrong am I guilty of? (niv)

In that hour Jesus said to the crowd,“ Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. (niv)
