While they were reclining at the table eating, he said,“ Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me— one who is eating with me.”

While they were at the table eating, Jesus said,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. One of you who is eating with me will hand me over to my enemies.”

And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said,“ Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.”

As they were at the table eating, Jesus said,“ I tell you the truth, one of you eating with me here will betray me.”

While they were reclining and eating, Jesus said,“ Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me— one who is eating with me.”

And as they were reclining at the table and eating, Jesus said,“ Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me— one who is eating with Me.”

Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said,“ Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me.”

And as they sat and were eating, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you shall betray me, even he that eateth with me.

While they were reclining and eating, Jesus said,“ I assure you: One of you will betray Me— one who is eating with Me!”

And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.

While they were at the table eating, Jesus said,“ I tell you the truth, one of you eating with me will betray me.”

As they sat and were eating, Jesus said,“ Most certainly I tell you, one of you will betray me— he who eats with me.”

Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me. (niv)

Then Jesus replied,“ Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!” (niv)

“ Truly I tell you, I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” (niv)

After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified,“ Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.” (niv)

Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, (niv)

Jesus replied,“ Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” (niv)

“ So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. (niv)

Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. (niv)

And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” (niv)

“ Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied,“ no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel (niv)

Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward. (niv)

But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend,with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers. (niv)

For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. (niv)

Jesus gave them this answer:“ Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. (niv)

Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” (niv)

“ Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. (niv)

Jesus said to them,“ Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. (niv)

And while they were eating, he said,“ Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.” (niv)

He then added,“ Very truly I tell you, you will see‘ heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.” (niv)

“ Truly I tell you,” he continued,“ no prophet is accepted in his hometown. (niv)

“ When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. (niv)

And he said to them,“ Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.” (niv)

Then Jesus answered,“ Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times! (niv)

from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all. (niv)

Jesus answered,“ Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. (niv)

Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (niv)

“ And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. (niv)

He sighed deeply and said,“ Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to it.” (niv)
