約翰施洗、由天乎、由人乎、眾竊議曰、若云由天、彼必曰、曷不信之、若云由人、我又畏民、蓋民以約翰為先知也、遂對曰、不知也、耶穌曰、我亦不以何權行、是告爾、○

爾意何如、二者、孰遵父旨乎、曰、長子、耶穌曰、我誠告爾、稅吏娼妓、先爾入上帝國矣、蓋約翰以道義就爾、爾不信、而稅吏娼妓信之、且爾見此、又不後悔以信之、○

故我見而證其為上帝子也、○
