若有人對你們說：『為甚麼做這事？』你們就說：『主要用牠。』那人必立時讓你們牽來。」

儻人問爾胡為若是、則曰、主需之、彼必立遣之、

倘有人問爾何為、則曰、主需之、彼必從而放焉、

倘有人詰爾、因何行此、則曰、主需之、即許爾牽之、

如有人問故、第曰：「主需一用、即當歸還。」』

If anyone asks you,‘ Why are you doing this?’ say,‘ The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’”

地和其中所充满的，世界和住在其中的，都属耶和华。

丰富尊荣都从你而来，你也治理万物。在你手里有大能大力，你的手使人尊大强盛。我们的神啊，现在我们称谢你，赞美你荣耀之名！“我算什么，我的百姓算什么，竟然能够如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你的手得来的献给你。我们在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，与我们的列祖一样。我们在世的日子如影子，没有盼望。耶和华—我们的神啊，我们预备这许多材料，要为你的圣名建造殿宇，都是从你的手而来，都是属你的。我的神啊，我知道你察验人心，喜悦正直；我以正直的心乐意献上这一切。现在我欢喜见你的百姓在此乐意奉献给你。耶和华—我们列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神啊，求你使你的百姓心中常存这样的心思意念，坚定他们的心归向你，

你在圣山上掌权的日子，你的子民必甘心跟随；从晨曦初现，你就有清晨的甘露。

神藉着耶稣基督—他是万有的主—传和平的福音，把这道传给以色列人。

你们知道我们主耶稣基督的恩典：他本是富足，却为你们成了贫穷，好使你们因他的贫穷而成为富足。

众人祷告说：“主啊，你知道万人的心，求你从这两个人中指明你所拣选的是哪一位，

也不用人手去服侍，好像缺少什么似的；自己倒将生命、气息、万物赐给万人。

他会带你们看一间摆设齐全、准备妥当的楼上大厅，你们就在那里为我们预备。”

你使他暂时比天使微小，赐他荣耀尊贵为冠冕，你派他管理你手所造的，使万物都服在他的脚下。”既然使万物都服他，就没有剩下一样不服他的了。只是如今我们还不见万物都服他；惟独见那成为暂时比天使微小的耶稣，因为受了死的痛苦，得了尊贵荣耀为冠冕，好使他因着神的恩，为人人经历了死亡。
