Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

若爾中有人智慧不足、當求天主、天主乃厚賜人而不責人者、必賜所求、惟求之時、當信無疑、蓋疑者譬諸海浪、風吹奔盪、

我又告爾、若爾中有二人契合於地、以求何事、我在天之父、必為彼成之、

爾曹託我名、無論何求、我必成之、使父因子得榮、

爾若在我內、我言亦在爾內、則凡所欲者可求、必為爾成之、

求則予爾、尋則遇之、叩門則為爾啟之、蓋凡求者必得、尋者必遇、叩門者必為之啟、爾曹中孰有子求餅而予之石乎、求魚而予之蛇乎、爾曹雖不善、尚知以善物予爾子、況爾在天之父、不以善物賜求之者乎、

我又告爾、求則予爾、尋則遇之、叩門則為爾啟之、蓋凡求者必得、尋者必遇、叩門者必為之啟、爾中為父者、孰有子求餅而予之石乎、求魚而予之蛇以代魚乎、抑求卵而予以蠍乎、爾曹雖不善、尚知以善物予子、何況天主、不更以聖神予求之者乎、○

當斯日爾曹無所問於我、我誠告爾、凡爾託我名求於父者、父必賜爾、至今爾尚未託我名而求、求則必得、致爾之樂充足矣、我設喻以此事告爾、時將至、我不復設喻告爾、乃以父明示爾、當斯日爾託我名而求、我不言為爾求父、蓋父自愛爾、以爾愛我、且信我出自天主、

由信祈禱、可救患病者、主必起之、彼素犯之罪、亦蒙赦宥、當彼此認過、互為祈禱、則可得愈、蓋義人切切祈禱、甚為有力、以利亞為人與我儕同情、彼切求不雨、則不雨於地、歷三年有六月、後又祈禱、則天降雨、地遂產物、○

耶穌又設喻、謂人當恆祈禱而不倦、曰、某邑有一士師、不畏天主、不禮世人、其邑有一嫠婦、入見之曰、有仇我者、請伸我冤、士師久不允、後自思曰、我雖不畏天主、不禮世人、但此嫠婦屢煩我、必伸其冤、免其恆至擾我、主曰、爾聽此不義之士師所言、天主之選民、晝夜籲禱天主、其應允或遲、豈不終伸其冤乎、我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○
