我誠語汝、凡命此山、移而投海、中心不疑、惟信所言必成者、則將得之也、

我誠告爾、凡命此山曰、移去投海、而心中不疑、惟信所言必成、則所言可成焉、

吾實語爾、人但能無餒於心、篤信所言必成、即命此山自移而投於海、亦必予成。

“ Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain,‘ Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

“ What I’m about to tell you is true. Suppose someone says to this mountain,‘ Go and throw yourself into the sea.’ They must not doubt in their heart. They must believe that what they say will happen. Then it will be done for them.

Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,‘ Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain,‘ May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,‘ Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.

He replied,“ Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,‘ Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (niv)

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (niv)

Jesus replied,“ Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain,‘ Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. (niv)

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (niv)

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. (niv)

He replied,“ If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree,‘ Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you. (niv)

By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son,even though God had said to him,“ It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. (niv)

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him,“ So shall your offspring be.”Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead— since he was about a hundred years old— and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.This is why“ it was credited to him as righteousness.”The words“ it was credited to him” were written not for him alone,but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness— for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. (niv)
