But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:

只是在你们中间，不是这样。你们中间，谁愿为大，就必作你们的用人；

但是在你们中间，不可这样。你们中间谁愿为大，就要作你们的用人；

但是在你们中间，不可这样。你们中间谁愿为大，就要作你们的用人；

但你们不可这样。你们中间谁要当首领，谁就要做大家的仆人；

但你们中间却不要这样；谁想在你们中间为大的，就要作你们的仆役，

但你们当中却不是这样；相反，无论谁想在你们当中为大，谁就该做你们的仆人；

惟爾曹不可如是、爾曹中欲為大者、當為爾役、

爾中則不應若是。爾中孰願為大、當為爾役；

Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

Don’t be like that. Instead, anyone who wants to be important among you must be your servant.

But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,

But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,

But it is not so among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you will be your servant,

But it is not this way among you; rather, whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant;

Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

But it is not so among you: but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your minister;

But it must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

But it is not this way among you. Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.

But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master,[ even] Christ; and all ye are brethren.And call no[ man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master,[ even] Christ.But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first,[ the same] shall be last of all, and servant of all.

And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified[ rather] than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what[ is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For though I be free from all[ men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;To them that are without law, as without law,( being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all[ men], that I might by all means save some.And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with[ you].

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all[ of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for[ so] I am.If I then,[ your] Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only[ use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
