Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him.“ There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him.“ Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him,“ You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him,“ One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him,“ One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

Then, looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him,“ You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

As Jesus looked at him, he felt love for him and said,“ You lack one thing. Go, sell whatever you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Jesus looking at him loved him, and said to him,“ One thing you lack. Go, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.”

Then Jesus said to his disciples,“ Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (niv)

They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. (niv)

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. (niv)

Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. (niv)

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. (niv)

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. (niv)

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. (niv)

So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well. If I love you more, will you love me less? (niv)

Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. (niv)

Jesus answered,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (niv)

You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. (niv)

and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. (niv)

but few things are needed— or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” (niv)

“ Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said:“ Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (niv)

“ The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. Now if we are children, then we are heirs— heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (niv)

I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. (niv)

When Jesus heard this, he said to him,“ You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (niv)

As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it (niv)

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, (niv)

Buy the truth and do not sell it— wisdom, instruction and insight as well. (niv)

He said,“ Surely they are my people, children who will be true to me”; and so he became their Savior.In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. “ I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (niv)

that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the salesand put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas( which means“ son of encouragement”),sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet. The young man, who was the most honored of all his father’s family, lost no time in doing what they said, because he was delighted with Jacob’s daughter. (niv)
