Then my enemies will see that the Lord is on my side. They will be ashamed that they taunted me, saying,“ So where is the Lord— that God of yours?” With my own eyes I will see their downfall; they will be trampled like mud in the streets.

When my enemies see this, they will be covered with shame. They say to me,“ Where is the LORD your God?” I will gloat over them. Then they will be trampled down like mud in the streets.

Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, where is Yahweh your God? Then my enemy will see me and will cover her shame. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

they will be like warriors in battle trampling down the mud of the streets. They will fight because the Lord is with them, and they will put horsemen to shame.

Let the priests, the Lord’s ministers, weep between the portico and the altar. Let them say:“ Have pity on Your people, Lord, and do not make Your inheritance a disgrace, an object of scorn among the nations. Why should it be said among the peoples,‘ Where is their God?’”

We are ashamed because we have heard insults. Humiliation covers our faces because foreigners have entered the holy places of the Lord’s temple.

Let those who rejoice at my misfortune be disgraced and humiliated; let those who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and reproach.

My adversaries taunt me, as if crushing my bones, while all day long they say to me,“ Where is your God?”

I pulverize them like dust of the earth; I crush them and trample them like mud in the streets.

I will never be a widow or know the loss of children.’These two things will happen to you suddenly, in one day: loss of children and widowhood. They will happen to you in their entirety, in spite of your many sorceries and the potency of your spells.

For the Lord’s power will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trampled in a dung pile.He will spread out his arms in the middle of it, as a swimmer spreads out his arms to swim. His pride will be brought low, along with the trickery of his hands.The high-walled fortress will be brought down, thrown to the ground, to the dust.

Why should the nations ask,“ Where is their God?” Before our eyes, let vengeance for the shed blood of Your servants be known among the nations.

My accusers will be clothed with disgrace; they will wear their shame like a cloak.

See, I will make you into a sharp threshing board, new, with many teeth. You will thresh mountains and pulverize them and make hills into chaff.You will winnow them and a wind will carry them away, a gale will scatter them. But you will rejoice in the Lord; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

You will be covered with shame and destroyed forever because of violence done to your brother Jacob.

One who scatters is coming up against you. Man the fortifications! Watch the road! Brace yourself! This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Israelites and Judeans alike have been oppressed. All their captors hold them fast; they refuse to release them.Their Redeemer is strong; Yahweh of Hosts is His name. He will fervently plead their case so that He might bring rest to the earth but turmoil to those who live in Babylon.

My tears have been my food day and night, while all day long people say to me,“ Where is your God?”

For He has humbled those who live in lofty places— an inaccessible city. He brings it down; He brings it down to the ground; He throws it to the dust.Feet trample it, the feet of the humble, the steps of the poor.

He has put His trust in God; let God rescue Him now— if He wants Him! For He said,‘ I am God’s Son.’”

“ I will repay Babylon and all the residents of Chaldea for all their evil they have done in Zion before your very eyes.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

Rejoice over her, heaven, and you saints, apostles, and prophets, because God has executed your judgment on her!

Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who pays you back what you have done to us.Happy is he who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rocks.
