Writhe in agony, Daughter Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the Lord will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.

People of Zion, groan with pain. Cry out like a woman having a baby. Soon you must leave your city. You must camp in the open fields. You will have to go to the land of Babylon. But that’s where the Lord will save you. There he will set you free from the power of your enemies.

Writhe and groan, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you shall go out from the city and dwell in the open country; you shall go to Babylon. There you shall be rescued; there the Lord will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

Writhe and groan like a woman in labor, you people of Jerusalem, for now you must leave this city to live in the open country. You will soon be sent in exile to distant Babylon. But the Lord will rescue you there; he will redeem you from the grip of your enemies.

Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, Like a woman in birth pangs. For now you shall go forth from the city, You shall dwell in the field, And to Babylon you shall go. There you shall be delivered; There the Lord will redeem you From the hand of your enemies.

Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and shalt dwell in the field, and shalt come even unto Babylon: there shalt thou be rescued; there will Jehovah redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

耶路撒冷的廢墟啊，要出聲一同歡唱；因為耶和華安慰了他的百姓，救贖了耶路撒冷。耶和華在萬國眼前露出聖臂，地的四極都要看見我們上帝的救恩。離開吧！離開吧！你們要從巴比倫出來。你們扛抬耶和華器皿的人哪，不要沾染不潔淨之物，離去時務要保持潔淨。你們出來必不致匆忙，也不致奔逃；因為耶和華要在你們前頭行，以色列的上帝必作你們的後盾。

因此，看哪，我要誘導她，領她到曠野，我要說動她的心。

產婦的疼痛必臨到他身上；他是無智慧之子，如同臨盆時未出現的胎兒。

我憑公義興起居魯士，又要修直他一切的道路。他必建造我的城，釋放我被擄的民，不為工價，也不為獎賞。」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

我實實在在地告訴你們，你們將要痛哭，哀號，世人反要歡喜。你們將要憂愁，然而你們的憂愁要變成喜樂。婦人生產的時候會憂愁，因為她的時候到了；但孩子一生出來，就不再記得那痛苦了，因為歡喜有一個人生在世上了。你們現在也是憂愁，但我要再見到你們，你們的心就會有喜樂了；這喜樂沒有人能奪去。

於是有大鷹的兩個翅膀賜給婦人，讓她能飛到曠野，到自己的地方，躲避那蛇。她在那裏受供養一載二載半載。

所以耶和華使亞述王的將領來攻擊他們，用手銬銬住瑪拿西，用銅鏈鎖住他，把他帶到巴比倫去。

城被攻破，士兵全都在夜間從靠近王的花園、兩城牆中間的門逃跑。迦勒底人正在四圍攻城，王就往亞拉巴逃去。

「錫安未曾陣痛就生產，疼痛尚未來到，就生出男孩。國豈能一日而生？民豈能一時而產？但錫安一陣痛就生下兒女，這樣的事有誰聽見，有誰看見呢？耶和華說：我使人臨產，豈不讓她生產呢？你的上帝說：我使人生產，難道還讓她關閉不生嗎？

我必搭救你脫離惡人的手，救贖你脫離殘暴之人的手。」

來！住巴比倫的錫安百姓啊，逃吧！萬軍之耶和華在顯出榮耀之後，差遣我到擄掠你們的列國那裏，他如此說：「碰你們的就是碰他自己眼中的瞳人。看哪，我要揮手攻擊他們，他們就必作自己奴僕的擄物。」你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我。

波斯王居魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米的口所說的話，就激發波斯王居魯士的心，使他下詔書通告全國，說：「波斯王居魯士如此說：耶和華天上的上帝已將地上萬國賜給我，又委派我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。

然而，以色列的人數必多如海沙，不可量，不可數。從前在甚麼地方對他們說「你們不是我的子民」，將來就在那裏稱他們為「永生上帝的兒子」。

我的仇敵啊，不要向我誇耀。我雖跌倒，仍要起來；雖坐在黑暗裏，耶和華卻作我的光。我要承受耶和華的惱怒，直到他為我辯護，為我伸冤，因我得罪了他；他要領我進入光明，我必得見他的公義。那時我的仇敵看見這事就羞愧，他曾對我說：「耶和華－你的上帝在哪裏？」我必親眼見他遭報，現在，他必被踐踏，如同街上的泥土。你的城牆重修的日子到了！到那日，邊界必擴展。到那日，人必從亞述，從埃及的城鎮，從埃及到大河，從這海到那海，從這山到那山，都歸到你這裏。然而，因居民的緣故，為了他們行事的結果，這地必然荒涼。

凡脫離刀劍的倖存者，迦勒底王都擄到巴比倫去，作他和他子孫的僕婢，直到波斯國興起。

他拯救他們脫離恨他們之人的手，從仇敵手中救贖他們。
