其雕像悉見碎、所獲之贈、必焚於火、其偶像必荒廢、蓋彼所積者、原為娼之贈、後必復為娼之贈、

所造之偶必見毀、所鑄之像必見遷、所贈之物必焚毀、被獲珍寶、若娼得人之投贈、故後必為娼所得。

其中雕刻之像、俱必見碎、所得之贈物、贈物或作財寶必焚於火、其諸偶像、我必毀之、其諸偶像我必毀之或作其偶像處我必使荒蕪彼所積之珍寶、如妓所得之贈物、後將仍以之贈妓、

All her idols will be broken to pieces; all her temple gifts will be burned with fire; I will destroy all her images. Since she gathered her gifts from the wages of prostitutes, as the wages of prostitutes they will again be used.”

Samaria collected gifts that were paid to temple prostitutes. So the Assyrians will use the gifts to pay their own temple prostitutes.”

All her carved images shall be beaten to pieces, all her wages shall be burned with fire, and all her idols I will lay waste, for from the fee of a prostitute she gathered them, and to the fee of a prostitute they shall return.

妓女和男娼的賞金，都不可帶進耶和華－你上帝的殿中還願，因為兩者都是耶和華－你上帝所憎惡的。

我要毀壞她的葡萄樹和無花果樹，就是她所說「我所愛的給我為賞賜」的；我要使它們變為荒林，為野地的走獸所吞吃。

因這牛犢是出於以色列，是匠人所造的，並不是上帝。撒瑪利亞的牛犢必被打碎。

因為列國都喝了她淫亂大怒的酒；地上的君王和她行淫；地上的商人因她極度奢華而發了財。」

撒瑪利亞的居民必因伯‧亞文的牛犢驚恐；它的百姓為它悲哀，它的祭司為它戰兢，因為榮耀已經離開它。人必將牛犢帶到亞述，當作禮物獻給大王。以法蓮必蒙羞，以色列必因自己的計謀慚愧。

我們定要照我們口中所說的一切話去做，向天后燒香，獻澆酒祭，按着我們與我們祖先、君王、官長在猶大城鎮和耶路撒冷街市上素常所做的一樣；因為那時我們得以吃飽、享福樂，並未遇見災禍。自從我們停止向天后燒香，獻澆酒祭，我們倒缺乏這一切，又因刀劍饑荒滅絕。」

他們的母親行了淫亂，懷他們的做了可羞恥的事；因為她說：「我要跟隨我所愛的，我的餅、水、羊毛、麻、油、酒，都是他們給的。」

他又在瑪拿西、以法蓮、西緬、拿弗他利各城和四圍的廢墟，拆毀祭壇，把亞舍拉和雕刻的像打碎成灰，砍斷以色列全地所有的香壇。於是他回耶路撒冷去了。

這貨物就是金、銀、寶石、珍珠、細麻布、絲綢、紫色和朱紅色衣料、各樣香木、各樣象牙的器皿、各樣極寶貴的木頭和銅、鐵、大理石的器皿，和肉桂、豆蔻、香料、香膏、乳香、酒、油、細麵、麥子、牛、羊、馬、馬車，以及奴隸、人口。

為我的百姓抽籤，以男孩換取妓女，為喝酒賣掉女孩。

所以，雅各的罪孽藉此得赦免，除罪的效果盡在乎此；他使祭壇的石頭變為粉碎的石灰，使亞舍拉和香壇不再立起。

我把那使你們犯罪所鑄的牛犢拿來，用火焚燒，搗碎後再磨成粉末，好像灰塵。我把這灰塵撒在從山上流下來的溪水中。

又打碎柱像，砍下亞舍拉，用人的骨頭填滿那地方。此外，在伯特利丘壇的壇，就是尼八的兒子耶羅波安所築、使以色列人陷入罪裏的，他也把這壇和丘壇都拆毀了，又焚燒丘壇，打碎成灰，並焚燒了亞舍拉。

我要摧毀你們的丘壇，砍掉你們的香壇，把你們的屍首扔在你們偶像的殘骸上。我的心也必厭惡你們，

地上的君王，與她行淫、一同奢華的，看見燒她的煙，就必為她哭泣哀號；

這一切事都完畢以後，在那裏的以色列眾人就到猶大的城鎮，打碎柱像，砍斷亞舍拉，又在猶大、便雅憫、以法蓮、瑪拿西遍地把丘壇和祭壇完全拆毀。於是以色列眾人各回各城，各歸自己產業的地去了。
