其中雕刻之像、俱必見碎、所得之贈物、贈物或作財寶必焚於火、其諸偶像、我必毀之、其諸偶像我必毀之或作其偶像處我必使荒蕪彼所積之珍寶、如妓所得之贈物、後將仍以之贈妓、

妓女所得的酬金，或男妓所得的代价，你不可带入耶和华你的神的殿里还任何的愿，因为这两样都是耶和华你的神厌恶的。

我必毁坏她的葡萄树和无花果树，就是她曾说：‘这是我作妓女所赚的，是我那些爱人给我的。’我必使这些果树成为荒林，任由田野的走兽吃掉。

撒玛利亚的居民必因伯．亚文的牛犊而惧怕；拜牛犊的人民必为它哀恸。拜牛犊的祭司必为它哀号，都因它的荣耀离开它而被掳去了。人要把它带到亚述去，作贡物献给那里的大王。以法莲必受羞辱，以色列必因自己的计谋蒙羞。

我们口中说过的一切话，我们一定去作，我们要向天后烧香，浇奠祭，好像我们自己和我们的列祖，以及我们的君王和领袖，在犹大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上所行的一样。那时我们吃得饱，得享福乐，不见灾祸。但是，自从我们停止向天后烧香和浇奠祭以后，我们就样样都缺乏，又因刀剑和饥荒灭亡。”

因为他们的母亲卖了淫，怀他们的作了羞耻的事；因为她曾说：‘我要跟随我那些爱人。我的饼和水，羊毛和麻布，油和我所喝的，都是他们给的。’

他又在玛拿西、以法莲、西缅，以至拿弗他利的各城，以及它们周围荒废的地方，都这样行。他拆毁了祭坛，把亚舍拉和雕刻的偶像打碎，破碎了以色列全地所有的香坛，就回耶路撒冷去了。

就是金、银、宝石、珍珠；细麻布、紫色布、丝绸、朱红色布；各样香木，各样象牙制品，各样极贵重的木器、铜器、铁器、大理石制品；肉桂、荳蔻、香料、香膏、乳香；酒、油、面粉、麦子；牛、羊、马、车、奴仆、人口。

他们为我的子民抽签，用男童交换妓女，女童被卖换酒喝。

藉此，雅各的罪孽才得赦免；他的罪过得以除掉的条件全都在于此，就是他叫祭坛上所有的石头都变为破碎的灰石，使亚舍拉和香坛不再竖立。

我把你们的罪，就是你们铸造的牛犊，拿去用火烧了，又把它捣碎，磨成细粉，像灰尘一样；我把这灰尘撒在从山上流下来的溪水中。

他又打碎神柱，砍下亚舍拉，把死人的骨头布满那个地方。此外，甚至在伯特利的祭坛和那使以色列人陷于罪中的尼八的儿子耶罗波安所做的邱坛，他都拆毁焚烧，压碎成灰，又把亚舍拉烧了。

我必毁坏你们的邱坛，砍倒你们的香坛，把你们的尸体扔在你们仆倒的偶像上面；我的心必厌弃你们。

“地上的众王，就是跟她一同行邪淫、骄奢无度的，看见焚烧她的烟的时候，就必为她痛哭捶胸。

这一切都作完了，所有在那里的以色列人就都出去，到犹大的各城，打碎神柱，砍下亚舍拉；又在犹大、便雅悯、以法莲和玛拿西各地，把邱坛和祭坛完全拆毁。然后以色列众人都各回各城，各归自己的地业去了。
