For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

你們做奴僕的，凡事都要順從自己在世上的主人，不要只在人眼前服事，像是討人的歡心，而要以忠實的心敬畏主。

耶穌就站在她旁邊，斥責那高燒，燒就退了。她立刻起來，服事他們。

耶穌就起來，斥責了風，對浪說：「不許做聲！平靜下來！」於是風就停了，湖面就變得一片平靜。耶穌對門徒們說：「為什麼膽怯呢？你們還沒有信嗎？」門徒們就大為驚恐，彼此說：「這個人究竟是誰？連風和浪也聽從他！」

烈火和冰雹、冰雪和雲霧、遵行他話語的暴風、

你們做奴僕的，要懷著敬畏和戰兢，以忠實的心順從自己在世上的主人，就像聽從基督一樣。不要只在人眼前服事，像是討人的歡心，而要像基督的奴僕，從心裡遵行神的旨意。

他一吩咐，暴風就興起，揚起海洋的波濤。他們上到天空，又下到深淵，在危急中魂飛魄散。他們搖搖晃晃，東倒西歪，好像醉酒的人，他們一切的智慧都毫無用處。於是他們在危難中向耶和華呼求，他就把他們從困境中領出來。他使狂風止息，歸於靜寂，海洋的波濤也平靜了。

事實上，我也被放在人的權下，也有士兵在我之下。我對這個說『去』，他就去；對那個說『來』，他就來；對我的奴僕說『做這事』，他就去做。」

耶穌斥責汙靈說：「住口！從他身上出來！」鬼魔把那個人摔倒在眾人中間，就從他身上出來了，但沒有傷害他。大家都驚訝不已，彼此談論說：「這是什麼事呢？他帶著權柄和能力命令那些汙靈，它們就出來了！」
