蓋我隸人權、有士卒隸我權、令此往則往、來則來、令僕行是則行是、

蓋我權屬人、兵權屬我、命去則去、命來則來、令僕行是、即行是、

蓋我屬人轄、亦有兵屬我轄、命此去則去、命彼來則來、令我僕行是則行是、

蓋予屬人權下、己亦帶有兵卒；命此去則去、召彼來則來、所諭於僕、罔有不從。』

For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

I myself am a man under authority. And I have soldiers who obey my orders. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes. I tell that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my slave,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one,‘ Go,’ and he goes, and to another,‘ Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say,‘ Go,’ and they go, or‘ Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves,‘ Do this,’ they do it.”

你們作僕人的，要凡事聽從世上的主人，作事不要只作給人看，像那些討人歡心的一樣，卻要以真誠的心敬畏主。

作奴僕的，要凡事順服自己的主人，討他歡喜，不要頂嘴。

如果我使刀劍臨到那地，說：‘願刀劍經過那地，好讓我把人和牲畜從那地剪除。’即使有這三個人在其中，主耶和華說：我指著我的永生起誓，他們只能救自己，連兒女也不能救。如果我使瘟疫流行那地，藉著流血的事把我的烈怒傾倒在那地上，使人和牲畜都從那地剪除；即使當中有挪亞、但以理和約伯，我指著我的永生起誓，他們只能因自己的義救自己的性命，連兒女也不能救。這是主耶和華的宣告。”主耶和華這樣說：“我打發刀劍、饑荒、猛獸和瘟疫這四樣可怕的刑罰臨到耶路撒冷，要把人和牲畜從那裡剪除的時候，那情況豈不更嚴重嗎？

耶穌站在她旁邊，斥責那熱病，熱就退了；她立刻起身服事他們。

耶穌起來，斥責了風，又對海說：“不要作聲！安靜吧！”風就停止，大大地平靜了。然後對他們說：“為甚麼這樣膽怯呢？你們怎麼沒有信心呢？”門徒非常懼怕，彼此說：“這到底是誰，連風和海都聽從他？”

火和冰雹，雪和雲霧，執行他命令的狂風，

你能向密雲揚聲嗎？你能使洪水淹沒你嗎？你能差派閃電，閃電就發出，並且對你說：‘我們在這裡’嗎？

你們作僕人的，要存著敬畏、戰兢和真誠的心，聽從世上的主人，好像聽從基督一樣。作事不要只作給人看，像那些討人歡心的一樣，卻要像基督的僕人，從心裡遵行神的旨意，

他一吩咐，狂風就颳起，海中的波浪也高揚。他們上到天上，下到深淵，他們的心因危難而驚慌。他們搖搖晃晃，東倒西歪，好像醉酒的人；他們的一切智慧都沒有用了。於是他們在急難中呼求耶和華，他就拯救他們脫離困苦。他使狂風止息，海浪就平靜無聲。

因為我自己是在別人的權下，也有兵在我以下；我對這個說：‘去！’他就去；對另一個說：‘來！’他就來；對我的僕人說：‘作這個！’他就作。”

耶穌斥責他說：“住口！從他身上出來！”鬼把那人摔倒在眾人中間，就從他身上出來了，沒有傷害他。眾人都驚駭，彼此談論說：“這是怎麼回事？他用權柄能力吩咐污靈，污靈竟出來了。”

天地照著你的安排存到今日，因為萬有都是你的僕役。

耶和華的刀劍哪，你要到幾時才可停下來呢？請你入鞘吧！休息靜止吧！但耶和華既吩咐了它，又怎能停下來呢？他指派了它去攻擊亞實基倫和沿海一帶。
