雨降潦行、颶風倏起、相與衝而擊之、而其屋屹然不動者、其基固也。

忍受试探的人是有福的，因为他经过试验以后，必得生命的冠冕；这是主应许给那些爱他之人的。

叫你们的信心既被试验，就比那被火试验仍然能坏的金子更显宝贵，可以在耶稣基督显现的时候得着称赞、荣耀、尊贵。

倚靠耶和华的人好像锡安山，永不动摇。众山怎样围绕耶路撒冷，耶和华也照样围绕他的百姓，从今时直到永远。

你们这因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得着所预备、到末世要显现的救恩。

在他里面生根建造，信心坚固，正如你们所领的教训，感谢的心也更增长了。

各人的工程必然显露，因为那日子要将它表明出来，有火发现；这火要试验各人的工程怎样。人在那根基上所建造的工程若存得住，他就要得赏赐。人的工程若被烧了，他就要受亏损，自己却要得救；虽然得救，乃像从火里经过的一样。

坚固门徒的心，劝他们恒守所信的道；又说：“我们进入神的国，必须经历许多艰难。”

所以你要对那些抹上未泡透灰的人说：‘墙要倒塌，必有暴雨漫过。大冰雹啊，你们要降下，狂风也要吹裂这墙。’这墙倒塌之后，人岂不问你们说：‘你们抹上未泡透的灰在哪里呢？’”所以主耶和华如此说：“我要发怒，使狂风吹裂这墙，在怒中使暴雨漫过，又发怒降下大冰雹，毁灭这墙。我要这样拆毁你们那未泡透灰所抹的墙，拆平到地，以致根基露出，墙必倒塌，你们也必在其中灭亡；你们就知道我是耶和华。我要这样向墙和用未泡透灰抹墙的人成就我怒中所定的，并要对你们说：‘墙和抹墙的人都没有了。’这抹墙的就是以色列的先知，他们指着耶路撒冷说预言，为这城见了平安的异象，其实没有平安。这是主耶和华说的。”

他们栽于耶和华的殿中，发旺在我们神的院里。他们年老的时候仍要结果子，要满了汁浆而常发青，好显明耶和华是正直的。他是我的磐石，在他毫无不义。

他必坐下如炼净银子的，必洁净利未人，熬炼他们像金银一样；他们就凭公义献供物给耶和华。

我还告诉你，你是彼得，我要把我的教会建造在这磐石上；阴间的权柄不能胜过他。
