Remain loyal to the LORD, you chosen people of his, for his loyal followers lack nothing!Even young lions sometimes lack food and are hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

Jesus said,“ I tell you the truth, there is no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the gospelwho will not receive in this age a hundred times as much– homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, fields, all with persecutions– and in the age to come, eternal life.

For the LORD God is our sovereign protector. The LORD bestows favor and honor; he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.O LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL, how blessed are those who trust in you!

Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;then your barns will be filled completely, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

My child, if you receive my words, and store up my commands within you,by making your ear attentive to wisdom, and by turning your heart to understanding,indeed, if you call out for discernment– raise your voice for understanding–if you seek it like silver, and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand how to fear the LORD, and you will discover knowledge about God.For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.He stores up effective counsel for the upright, and is like a shield for those who live with integrity,to guard the paths of the righteous and to protect the way of his pious ones.Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity– every good way.

For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

I was once young, now I am old. I have never seen a godly man abandoned, or his children forced to search for food.

This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah. He did what the LORD his God considered good and right and faithful.He wholeheartedly and successfully reinstituted service in God’s temple and obedience to the law, in order to follow his God.

Trust in the LORD and do what is right! Settle in the land and maintain your integrity!

And whoever has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

The LORD watches over the innocent day by day and they possess a permanent inheritance.They will not be ashamed when hard times come; when famine comes they will have enough to eat.

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves,in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

For“ physical exercise has some value, but godliness is valuable in every way. It holds promise for the present life and for the life to come.”

Then Jesus said to them,“ I tell you the truth, there is no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of God’s kingdomwho will not receive many times more in this age– and in the age to come, eternal life.”

God said to him,“ Because you asked for the ability to make wise judicial decisions, and not for long life, or riches, or vengeance on your enemies,I grant your request, and give you a wise and discerning mind superior to that of anyone who has preceded or will succeed you.Furthermore, I am giving you what you did not request– riches and honor so that you will be the greatest king of your generation.

For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith, just as it is written,“ The righteous by faith will live.”

“ The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure, hidden in a field, that a person found and hid. Then because of joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls.When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.

and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness– a righteousness from God that is in fact based on Christ’s faithfulness.

He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

From that time Jesus began to preach this message:“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Elijah said to her,“ Don’t be afraid. Go and do as you planned. But first make a small cake for me and bring it to me; then make something for yourself and your son.

For thus an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be richly provided for you.

This is evidence of God’s righteous judgment, to make you worthy of the kingdom of God, for which in fact you are suffering.

For ignoring the righteousness that comes from God, and seeking instead to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

But now apart from the law the righteousness of God( which is attested by the law and the prophets) has been disclosed–namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction,

proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with complete boldness and without restriction.

The LORD who rules over all says this:“ These people have said,‘ The time for rebuilding the LORD’s temple has not yet come.’”So the LORD spoke through the prophet Haggai as follows:“ Is it right for you to live in richly paneled houses while my temple is in ruins?Here then is what the LORD who rules over all says:‘ Think carefully about what you are doing.You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but are never filled. You drink, but are still thirsty. You put on clothes, but are not warm. Those who earn wages end up with holes in their money bags.’”“ Moreover, the LORD who rules over all says:‘ Pay close attention to these things also.Go up to the hill country and bring back timber to build the temple. Then I will be pleased and honored,’ says the LORD.‘ You expected a large harvest, but instead there was little, and when you brought it home it disappeared right away. Why?’ asks the LORD who rules over all.‘ Because my temple remains in ruins, thanks to each of you favoring his own house!This is why the sky has held back its dew and the earth its produce.Moreover, I have called for a drought that will affect the fields, the hill country, the grain, new wine, fresh olive oil, and everything that grows from the ground; it also will harm people, animals, and everything they produce.’”

That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him,“ Tell me what I should give you.”Solomon replied to God,“ You demonstrated great loyalty to my father David and have made me king in his place.Now, LORD God, may your promise to my father David be realized, for you have made me king over a great nation as numerous as the dust of the earth.Now give me wisdom and discernment so I can effectively lead this nation. Otherwise no one is able to make judicial decisions for this great nation of yours.”God said to Solomon,“ Because you desire this, and did not ask for riches, wealth, and honor, or for vengeance on your enemies, and because you did not ask for long life, but requested wisdom and discernment so you can make judicial decisions for my people over whom I have made you king,you are granted wisdom and discernment. Furthermore I am giving you riches, wealth, and honor surpassing that of any king before or after you.”

they will say about me,“ Yes, the LORD is a powerful deliverer.”’” All who are angry at him will cower before him.

If you say,‘ What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not sow and gather our produce?’I will command my blessing for you in the sixth year so that it may yield the produce for three years,

Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by:‘ The LORD has provided us with justice.’

They were both righteous in the sight of God, following all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly.

From Simeon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, have been granted a faith just as precious as ours.

“ And now I know that none of you among whom I went around proclaiming the kingdom will see me again.

From that time when one came expecting a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty measures from it, there were only twenty.I struck all the products of your labor with blight, disease, and hail, and yet you brought nothing to me,’ says the LORD.‘ Think carefully about the past: from today, the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, to the day work on the temple of the LORD was resumed, think about it.The seed is still in the storehouse, isn’t it? And the vine, fig tree, pomegranate, and olive tree have not produced. Nevertheless, from today on I will bless you.’”
