故我告爾、勿為生命憂慮何以食、何以飲、勿為身體憂慮何以衣、生命不重於糧乎、身體不重於衣乎、

故此我告訴你們，不要為你們的性命來掛慮、要喫甚麼、或喝甚麼；也不要為你們的身體來掛慮、要穿甚麼。性命不是勝於食物，而身體勝於服裝麼？

「所以我告訴你們：不要為你們的生命而憂慮吃什麼、喝什麼；也不要為你們的身體而憂慮穿什麼；難道生命不比食物更重要，身體不比衣服更重要嗎？

故我語汝、勿慮生何以食、何以飲、身何以衣、夫生非大於食、身非大於衣乎、

我語汝、勿慮生何以食、何以飲、身何以衣、生非大於糧、身不大於衣乎、

故吾語爾、毋庸岌岌於何食何飲以養生、何衣以蔽體。夫生不貴於食、體不貴於衣乎？

“ Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

“ Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

“ That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life— whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?

“ Therefore I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?

“ For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?

“ This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

“ Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing?

Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

勿憂慮、凡事祈禱、籲懇、感謝、以爾之所求者告天主、

爾當以一切所慮之事託於天主、天主必眷顧爾、

故勿慮云、何以食、何以飲、何以衣、

爾曹中孰能以思慮延命一刻乎、爾何為衣服憂慮乎、試觀野地之百合花、如何而長、不勞不紡、

天主不惜己子、為我眾舍之、豈不以萬物偕其子並賜我乎、

爾將所當之任託賴主、主必撫養爾、永不使善人動搖、

解爾之時、勿慮如何言、或何以言、時至、必賜爾以何言、

乃謂門徒曰、我告爾、勿為生命慮何以食、勿為身體慮何以衣、生命貴於糧、身體貴於衣、試思烏鴉不稼不穡、無倉無庫、而天主養之、爾較禽鳥不愈貴乎、爾中孰能以思慮延命一刻乎、至微者爾尚不能、何思慮其餘乎、試思百合花、如何而長、不紡不織、我告爾、即所羅門極榮華之時、其服飾不及此花之一、且夫野草、今日尚存、明日投爐、天主衣被之若此、況爾曹小信者乎、是以勿求何以食、何以飲、亦勿思慮、蓋此皆異邦人所求、爾需此、爾父已知之、爾惟求天主國、則此諸物必加諸爾、

勿為明日憂慮、明日之事、俟明日憂慮、一日惟受一日之勞苦足矣、

我欲爾無所慮、無妻者慮主之事、如何悅主、

而斯世之思慮、貨財之迷惑、及諸物慾、入而蔽其道、則不結實、

遺荊棘中者、指人聽道而去、為此生之思慮、貨財、逸樂所蔽、而不結實、

凡為卒者、不以世務纏身、致可見悅於募之者、

播於荊棘中者、指人聽道、而此世之思慮、及貨財之迷惑、蔽其道則不結實、

我告爾、凡認我於人前者、人子亦將認彼於天主使者前、不認我於人前者、我亦不認彼於天主使者前、

瑪他為供事多而心紛、就耶穌曰、我妹遺我一人供事、主不以為意乎、請命彼助我、耶穌曰、瑪他、瑪他、爾因事多、思慮煩擾、

務絕貪婪、以己所有者為足、蓋經載主曰、我必不棄爾、不離爾、故我儕可毅然曰、主乃助我、我無所畏、人能以何害加我、我無所畏人能以何害加我或作任人向我何為我皆不懼○

曳爾解爾之時、勿先慮將如何言、亦勿預籌、至其時、凡賜爾以言者、則言之、蓋非爾自言、乃聖神言也、

人曳爾至會堂及執政秉權者前、勿慮將如何伸訴、何以伸訴、何以言、

我友乎、我告爾、彼殺身後別無所能為者、勿懼之、我示爾所當懼者、當懼殺後、又有權投人於磯很拿者、我誠告爾、此當懼也、

惟我告爾、無故而怒兄弟者、當被審判、詈兄弟為鄙夫者、當解於公堂、詈兄弟為愚妄者、當擲於磯很拿磯很拿即生前作惡者死後受刑處有譯地獄下同之火、是以爾若獻禮物於祭臺、在彼爾憶獲罪爾兄弟、則留禮物於臺前、先往與兄弟復和、然後可來獻爾禮物、有訟爾者、猶偕爾於途間、亟當與之脩和、恐其解爾於刑官、刑官付爾於吏、而投於獄、我誠告爾、毫釐未償、斷不能出於彼也、○爾聞有諭古人之言曰、勿姦淫、惟我告爾、凡見婦而動慾念者、則心己姦淫矣、
