This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled:

In earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He will make it glorious, by the way of the sea, on the other side of the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them.

Now all this took place so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:

This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled:“ Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen; My Beloved in whom My soul delights; I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.He will not quarrel, nor cry out; Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.A bent reed He will not break off, And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish, Until He leads justice to victory.And in His name the Gentiles will hope.”

For these things took place so that the Scripture would be fulfilled:“ Not a bone of Him shall be broken.”And again another Scripture says,“ They will look at Him whom they pierced.”

But this has happened so that the word that is written in their Law will be fulfilled:‘ They hated Me for no reason.’

This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled:“ He Himself took our illnesses and carried away our diseases.”

For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me:‘ And He was counted with wrongdoers’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment.”

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled,* said,“ I am thirsty.”

He stayed there until the death of Herod; this happened so that what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:“ Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

and came and settled in a city called Nazareth. This happened so that what was spoken through the prophets would be fulfilled:“ He will be called a Nazarene.”

Now He said to them,“ These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all the things that are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, which say that it must happen this way?”

But all this has taken place so that the Scriptures of the prophets will be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left Him and fled.
